Wonderful spot away from the crowds. The cabin was cozy and had a wonderful view. Enjoyed hanging out with the other guests at the campfire. Nice trail around the property with spectacular views. I will probably be back here soon. Great spot to watch the eclipse.

Beautiful area unpleasant hosts
The overall area and property for this stay is absolutely stunning. I had reached out prior to arrival inquiring simple facts to help plan my stay such as route from airport and transportation to horseshoe bend which is advertised five miles away, I was met with cold unhelpful advice and a stern reply to do research which made me nervous but I still pursued the decision to stay. Upon arrival I was met by hosts and overall was so enthusiastic the initial meeting was great, I made sure to be pleasant and I did sense that great damage had been as mentioned by Paul to the property house before. I stayed in the house and was stunned by the beauty and comfort in the Kuub. Unfortunately I felt violated during my time there at the property. First day the room was entered and the bed was made snacks were refreshed. While I didn’t mind I was surprised during covid they entered and wasn’t expecting that. In addition my personal food was moved even though the area I placed it had snacks. My stuff was bagged up and set aside. In addition the second day I came home from a hike to see no made bed or snacks and belongings rifled through and my food again moved. I found this really shocking as the service wasn’t consistent. Bya rode on a bike to confront me to inquire the next morning about a missing bowl. I explained I had it and had ate out of it as food from them was left in it and cleaned it. This was very confrontational and the bowl was from ikea- I was basically accused of stealing. The day of check out I offered to leave a case of water and tried to make the best of the situation. My personal clothes and food were went through when the bowl search was conducted. I feel that as a host you should offer areas for personal food if you want guests to specifically have items in a place. It was very uncomfortable to stay there knowing I was being watched and violated in such a way, I pushed through it while there as the area i decided to not let this behavior ruin my trip. I did feel disrespected and uncomfortable and would not recommend staying as a result.

Evie, asked if she could uber/taxi around the area. We are rural/remote in the Southwest USA, northern Arizona. We provided numerous links and advised her to research before booking.
A housekeeper resets the accommodations daily. Hence there cleaning fee. The Kyoob, which is very well appointed - authentic Navajo wool weavings, original artworks, wool rugs was left in total disarray. It was impossible to walk through without having to step over all of her items. We DO NOT allow eating in the Kyoob. Her food was strewn around the Kyyob. It was bagged and placed off of the wool rugs. None of her personal belongings were disturbed. We simply asked where the bowl had gone as it is used for amenities. Never did we accuse her of stealing the bowl. The review is odd and does not relate to reality in any way. Evie is probably best suited for a motel.
Great experience- there was no electricity or hot water which was both a pro and a con. It was peaceful and we loved the wood burning stove. Nice place to unplug
The property is beautiful. The Ranch, the Building, the Experience was just what I was looking for to get away from it all. I will hopefully make it back to spend more than just one night.
Our stay at the kyoob was unique and a much needed break from the busyness of life. We woke to the beautiful sunrise just over the hill, watched wild horses graze in the distance, and enjoyed conversation with the owners. Wonderful adventure and great experience. We will stay here again!
We had an amazing experience here! If you’re looking to get away from it all and reconnect with the land this is the place. Words cannot express the sense of peace and joy we felt here. Baya and Paul were the most gracious hosts. Looking forward to returning.
This is an amazing and adventurous place to stay just south of Page, Arizona. The owners are nice and keep the property clean. We appreciated the insight and historical perspective provided by the owners regarding the land the rental property is on. For those that are eager or willing to shower outside, this is the place for you!
