Horrible Communication

Could not reach the property owner and were not given any information to get into the property, so we had to wait for over 2 hours while we called VRBO and the owner many times to get the code to get in.Also, the hot tub was not working thr first day/night, so jad to get that looked at the next day.Lastly, only the middle floor is handicap accessible, so that made it a bit tough with our group.Beautiful property though.

Good time for the old people and our adult sons

Overall, the place is very good. We liked the location. It is a little out of the madness of downtown Gatlinburg, but there are plenty of places to eat and shop. If you want to see bears, there were several on the property during our stay. We were careful not to interfere with them, especially the mama and two cubs who were on the porch when we came home from dinner one night. They quickly made their way into the woods when we pulled up, so no problem. Beds were comfortable, except for the pull-out sofa. Like most of them, not really great for adult sized bodies. Bedding and towels were plentiful as was hot water. Kitchen is well equipped and the cabinets actually had many food items like salt and pepper, so check before you hit the grocery store. The game room was great. The boys had fun. There were some issues that didn't really interfere with our stay, but the place could use some TLC. The rocking chair had a broken leg, the ice machine sounded like a wood chipper, and there were burned out lightbulbs everywhere. We never did get the front porch light to work. Great place, but don't expect perfection.

Amazing Vacation!

Our family enjoyed this Labor Day Week vacation so much and we are so excited to come back to this cabin for another stay as soon as possible. The location of the cabin was perfect as it is only 11 minutes to Downtown Gatlinburg and 25-30 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The Food City was 6 minutes from the cabin and well stocked with groceries. I am so glad that I made the decision to wait and shop when we arrived. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, downstairs pool table and air hockey table. The beds, TVs, porches, and kitchen areas were the BEST! Ample sleeping for our group and we could have added more in if needed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed and I cooked breakfast each morning and a few dinners. My older boys were close enough to the Tail of the Dragon to take their Minis and drive for the day. It was a great cabin in a fantastic area with a great host who was quickly responsive and wonderful to deal with for our amazing vacation. This is a 10/10 Cabin and a must if you are taking your family to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge areas. We will be back and so excited to book with this wonderful host again! Enjoy!

Great location

We had 6 adults in our group and had plenty of space with the layout. Each floor has a bedroom and full bathroom. There’s enough parking for 3 cars if you know how to angle them correctly. The location is perfect for quick access to the Arts & Crafts loop and the easy access to the park & Roaring Forks. The host was very helpful and quick with responses. I would definitely stay at this house again.

Perfect cabin and location

If you’re looking for a feeling of privacy but not far from the action, this is the cabin for you! This cabin is stunning, well taken care of, and very clean. We stayed for a week with our in-laws to celebrate a milestone birthday and had a blast! Michael is a respectful and responsive host and communicates exceptionally well. Given the right circumstances, I would stay here again! Highly recommend! Close to Gatlinburg and not a far from Pigeon Forge.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sweet Serenity cabin! I loved the views and hot tub. My kids 8 and 10 loved the game room. My mother 73 loved the handicap ramp, level parking, and that her bedroom, bath, and the kitchen were on the first floor. Fun for all ages!

Fantastic Cabin and Convenient Location

We had a wonderful stay in the cabin. The layout was perfect for us and our adult children to have plenty of room and nice areas to gather too. We had everything we needed for cooking and plus some. Such a quiet neighborhood and really liked that the cabin was at the end of the cul-de-sac. Easy parking and convenient to the trolly pickup. It was far enough from the bustle of downtown Gatlinburg but only a 10 minute drive to all the sights. The easiest check-in and check-out and if you want some delicious local pizza, we recommend Big Bear Pizza. Hope to come back soon!

Wonderful vacation

We were traveling to Gatlinburg for a wedding. The cabin was amazing and so clean! The host sent us a welcome letter they gave us suggestions on the best way to get to the cabin, the best places to eat, the best places to go visit while we were there, and many other suggestions. We had no issues the entire time we were there. I can’t wait to return

5 Stars

This home was perfect for our family. It’s is very clean and comfortable. Having bedrooms and bathrooms on each level provided privacy for each couple. The location was perfect. This home is only a few minutes drive from everything but is in a very quiet area. The wrap around decks and hot tub face the woods so it is very private. We will definitely rent this home again.

I love the Smokies especially hiking and I wanted a place to hike out of. Renting on VRBO helps me afford this.

Why they chose this property

Located close to Gatlinburg and the National Park but still private. It is at the end of a Cul-de-sac in the middle of the Glades Arts and Crafts district. It is also super easy to get to the main road for shopping. Food city is close. The parking is level and plenty of room for 4 cars. There are no scary windy roads to this cabin.
Large porches wrap around with a treetop look at the squirrels.

What makes this property unique

With over 96 artists and craftsmen, dozens of eateries, quaint lodging, wedding chapels, and acres of free parking; the Glades is a must see on your visit to the Smokies. If you’d prefer, there is also a dedicated trolley route (the Yellow route) for your convenience. All of the members of this unique organization are located on an 8 mile loop bordered by Glades Road, Buckhorn Road, and State Route 321 (also know as East Parkway).
