Perfect spot to stay for a hike

We stayed here as a central spot so we could leave daily for hikes around this area. Food places were great and it felt great to come home to a cute little place. Wording was a little tricky but there is no central AC. Fans and open windows and a single window unit in one room. Great screened in back porch to relax after a long day.

The house said newly renovated which was very accurate. The house was nicely furnished, comfortable, and overall very nice. The location was great, just outside of town but convenient.

A great stay!

We come to Salida often each year, and have been doing so for many years with my grandsons for our guy trips to Monarch and for fly fishing in the summers. Without question, one of our best stays. The local property manager was amazing! He was so efficient and accommodating. There was a minor issue that was mostly just miscommunication. He was on top of it and we resolved the confusion quickly. The property is handy to everything. It was a quick and easy trip to the ski slope, to town, to everything. The house was clean, well stocked, and ready to go. Multiple tvs were a plus for the grandsons for them to hook up their video games while I got to watch football. This place is a winner! I cannot speak highly enough of the local staff that services this property! Thanks for taking care of everything for us.

The place

Hello, to all who read this I think this place is great. The location is excellent for skiing (short drive to mountain), having quiet, being close to fun things (just down the road from the aquatics center and from downtown), and it has great access to hwy 50 and 285. It was easy to get a hold of the host and the host was friendly. It was stocked well, the appliances worked well, and the space was nice. I would recommend for sure.

Perfect for what we needed

This property is close to down town Salida, but far enough out to be away from the hustle and bustle. We were in town for a friend's wedding at the Hutchinson Ranch, and getting to and from the venue was easy.

Great place. Nice layout

Had a great time convenient location. Clean and nicely decorated. There was a grill for use that wasn’t noted in the listing so that was a nice surprise. Screen porch was nice as evenings cooled. Would definitely rent again

Weekend Wedding

Property was in a great location to get around town for all the events. Nice backyard, very clean and no issues with our stay. The necessity for property insurance I thought was an unneeded expense, will look for properties in the future that don’t require it.
