Beauté de l’ancien et quiétude

Belle et ancienne demeure confortable et bien équipée nichée dans un grand parc arboré et un beau paysage environnant vallonné tenue par un couple sympathique et aux petits soins. Tranquilité et belles ballades au rendez-vous.Unanimité familiale pour recommander ce bien historique.

Fantastic Experience in the South of France

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sud Chateau. The owners live on the property in a separate apartment at the front of the chateau and that was a real bonus for us, as our children LOVED their dog Nin (which practically became ours for the week), the cats and the chickens. Phillippe and Nuanchawee were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly with a gift basket of regional specialties and even dropped off some wonderful fresh vegetables out of the garden. The house was clean and well appointed, with nice little touches throughout the house. The location is ideal and we were able to take day trips to Carcassone, Foix, Toulouse, etc and hiking trails abound near the Fontaine de Fontestorbes. (Stop there and grab maps early in the week at the tourist office!) Every evening we sat outside under the shaded pergola and enjoyed the glorious view with a glass of wine. The pool was perfect to cool down after hiking, biking, or on a hot summer day. All in all, the house was a little piece of paradise. The owners even provided bicycles that we used to explore trails on the estate as well as the area. For my four children, ages 6-14, the animals, the bikes and the pool really made the stay extra special and far more than just a guest house. I enthusiastically recommend this location to the VRBO community and can't wait to go back!
