Located between Buena Vista and Salida at the foot of the Chalk Cliffs, our vacation home is perfect for families and those who love outdoor adventures. Mt Princeton Hot Springs, white water rafting, hiking, and OHV trails are all at your doorstep. Relax on the deck while gazing at Mt Antero and Mt Princeton, or enjoy our great room with cozy fireplace and amazing views of the Chalk Cliffs. The basement boasts a large game room well suited for fun of all ages. Decorated and stocked with everything your family will need, Cactus Flower has it all.

This is a beautiful property that offers spectacular views of Mt. Princeton, the chalk cliffs, and Mt. Antero. The massive deck and all of the main living areas offer these views and we never tired of them. There are two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms in the walkout basement. The third bedroom is on the main level, also with en suite bathroom. The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked. The property was clean and the host was very responsive. Check-in was easy to—code on front door bolt. Highly recommend.

This home is just perfect and so well cared for. We had plenty of space, really enjoyed cooking meals in the well appointed kitchen and hanging out in both cozy living areas. The views are so beautiful with local deer adding to the backdrop each day. We had a very Merry Christmas and hope to return soon!

Five year anniversary trip

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and the location is perfect. Just close enough to Monarch, but just far enough away. The view is amazing. The owners of the house are very accommodating and everything is just like it is described.

Beautiful, outstanding property. Excellent, private location. Very close to the hot springs. Our family of 7 stayed here and skied 3 days at Monarch. 45 minute drive to the slope.Home has a beautiful view of the mountains and everything about the stay was flawless.

Wonderful Home

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We could not get enough of the morning sunshine glow from the Chalk Cliffs outside the main living room windows. Wow. The home is perfectly situated for this view.

This house was built in 2020 as a family get-away. Craig and Debi are Nebraska farmers but lifelong lovers of Colorado. We have 3 "adult" children. We fell in love with the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful scenery of Chaffee County.
