Super convenient to park your boat and trailer right at your door! Decent food next door, all you need and everything we expected for our fishing trip. Will be back.
This looks like a typical old style motel. However, the rooms have been updated and the bathroom has been totally remodeled. It’s not bad for such a small town. It was clean. There are zero amenities. However, the island café is a very short walk next-door. They have a pretty traditional breakfast menu. I did not eat lunch or dinner. There’s not many places to stay in Everglades City. The main office is not on site. It’s at the Ivy hotel down the street. However, I would recommend the Everglades City Motel.
The place was really nice and very close to Everglades NP and many activities. Place was very clean and our house keeper was Natalia and she did very good job. Highly recommend
To check in you have to go over two blocks away. Then when we checked in it was not as described. They had updated things but it was still musty. Very stinky. There was black mold in the bathroom and cobwebs in the bathroom. The base of the sink was rotted away. There were no hooks or anything to hang stuff on in the bathroom. There was only one office chair in the whole place to sit on. There was no linen service. Not enough towels for the whole stay. The outside of the motel in the courtyard was old and dated. There was nothing to do there. The town is boring and and nothing was open. Nothing to do in this town. I would never go back to this motel. I'm sad that it's on VRBO. I was born everyone that if you're going to Everglades City check around for other accommodations. There are better more modern places available that weren't as expensive. I wish someone had said on there check around.
We had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great nearby restaurant.
Our motel room was very nice and comfortable. It was close to eateries and lots of outdoor activities. I highly recommend staying at Everglades City Motel. We plan to return:)
I often stay at the Everglades City Motel. It's very clean, extremely convenient with parking right next to your door, and the rooms give you everything you need, with nothing you don't. Mini fridge, microwave, kitchen sink with a few dishes to eat off of, cable TV for those quiet times. Clean and recently renovated rooms. Even a community area where I saw a group of fishermen gathered for a picnic. Very comfortable. I absolutely love it. Highly recommend staying here.
