Worth the money.

The location was perfect for us. We were less than 8 miles from Disney World and less than 2 miles Walmart, Starbucks, First Watch and Publix. The only two things I would say needed addressing was the toilet not working in the back bedroom and black out curtains in the front bedroom , to block out the lights and the sun.

Will not refund!!

We stayed here and made modification to our stay. We made this modification well before the cut-off for refund. They charged us full price anyway. Stated they would refund the extra portion. They did NOT! I have contacted them several times, printed bank statements and explained. They refuse to pay. Keep saying their "system shows payment" . the sure took the money quick but refuse to pay what they stole from us. Legal actions have been taken. They are a scam. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Storey Lake is the Worst! Avoid at all costs!

To begin I have no issues with the property owner and would rent from them again, but never in Storey Lake. There are a few minor things to note on the condo, but the resort was awful. We booked here because of the amenities. We planned on taking a break from the parks during the week and enjoying the slide, lazy river etc.. We first visited the amenities when we arrived on Saturday. The place was packed and we found out the majority of the people there were not staying on property, rather they live in the area and use a free pool. Anyone can walk in. They had no lifeguards so the slides were closed. Kids were climbing up the slides and over the gates to still use them. Nobody around to do anything. We could not use the lazy river because people would take the pool supplied rafts back to their seats and say nobody else could use them. We tried one more time on a Tuesday and results were the same. Kids were climbing on the bridge that goes over the lazy river, getting up on the railing and jumping into the water while people were in the river!!. Other kids were throwing rocks into the occupied lazy river. Nobody did anything. One person comically told us we needed to throw our Gatorades away because we didn't buy them there, but nobody did anything about the chaos. We left and did not return to the pool area all week. Also don't charge $ per person for miniature golf that is beyond basic and in the middle of the pool. Don't money grab that way. I have no problem for the overcharged drinks but include the golf. As far as the condo only a few minor things to improve. Please let guests know they need to bring toilet paper and trash bags. We ubered and ordered groceries and did not include these. In my experience they are usually on property when renting VRBO. Also it kept noting to place the trash in the bench outside the front door. No such bench exists. Bottom Line AVOID STOREY LAKE!

Pictures are exactly how condo is clean, organized, and neat. I was also able to check in a little early. Jose was awesome!! I would definitely stay here again!

Summer Stay

Stayed with kids and enjoyed our time. Fantastic location close to Disney parks, restaurants, shopping, etc. Extremely clean and updated with access to huge pool area. Would stay again.
