Our house is located by the fourth tee on the golf course at Monterey CC in Palm Desert. It offers a huge patio, gorgeous views of the mountains, nearby heated pool and hot tub, easy parking and friendly neighbors.

It features a beautiful living room and master bedroom with king sized bed, along with a modern ensuite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, twin vanities and tons of closet space. The second bedroom has a queen bed and adjacent bath with tub and shower and an additional large closet.

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with a huge fridge and new stove, All Clad and Cuisinart pans, air fryer, two coffee makers including one by Nespresso, a rice cooker, crockpot and everything you need to produce wonderful meals and snacks. You will also find high end wine glasses and Williams & Sonoma china and cutlery.

There is a spacious garage and extra parking on the driveway or on the street. We are just a few paces from one of 35 pools and spas on the property.

Monterey CC is one of Palm Desert's premium resort communities, close to El Paseo in Palm Desert, with grocery shopping just down the street. Many restaurants. Fabulous shopping, great food. What Palm Desert is famous for!

Lighting is LED throughout, and the property has recently implemented compost recycling, along with normal paper and container separation. Electronic thermostat for full control over heating and AC.

The property is all on one floor, so no stairs to climb. Easy to manage for walkers and limited movement folks.

A note about cancellation: This is a seasonal property. If you get stuck during the no-cancel period before your arrival, we'll attempt to find another client for your selected time, and return a pro rata portion of your funds, up to 100 percent, if we're able to cover the cancellation..

For 2027 we'll start looking at bookings in July 2026. Most likely there will be some availability at Thanlsgiving into early December (a great time to visit in the valley) and from early January until late February. March-April is our family time. Late April and May should have some open space as well.

Love this place to stay!

Beautiful place and the location cannot be beat. Right on the golf course with gorgeous mountain views. The fenced in outdoor patio is the best part! Our small pup had a place to be outside with us and watching the golfers was her favorite thing to do.

A wonderful stay at Thanksgiving

This was the second year we had stayed at John's property, and we enjoyed ourselves every bit as much as we did last year. The condo is clean and well-stocked, and is spacious enough to comfortably fit me, my husband, our adult daughter and her dog. We were very happy and hope to visit again.

Thanksgiving vacation

After a year away from our annual Thanksgiving vacation in the desert, we were ready to be back. We stayed 10 days at John's wonderful Palm Desert condo. There was plenty of room for my husband and I, our daughter and her 30 pound dog. The patio was spacious and offered a beautiful view of the golf course and the mountains beyond. Everything about our visit was easy - excellent instructions, easy gate access when we arrived, easy unit access. Very clean. We truly thought this was one of the best desert vacation we've enjoyed in recent years.

Nice floor plan. Loved having a full washer and dryer. Kitchen has everything you need. Gas BBQ. Great location close to good restaurants and parks. Livingroom furniture needs updating, not comfortable. The rest was wonderful.

Lovely location

My husband and I used this condo for a base camp as we visited our grand kids near by. It had all the amenities we needed, particularly a functional kitchen as I do a lot of my own cooking with my food allergy issues. The location was nice with the Country Club golf course, the well kept condos and beautiful mountain views. The use of facilities was limited or expensive though. We did enjoy bike riding the area.

Great location with perfect weather!

This was a perfect fit for us and our two dogs to escape the New England winter. The house has a great layout and very livable outdoor space. The weather is 10. Two cloudy days out of 30! John is the most gracious host and made the process enjoyable and easy.

Beautiful spot to spend a few weeks

We really enjoyed our stay at Monterey Country Club. John was a fantastic host, accommodating our last minute booking with ease. The property has nice bones, south-facing mountain view is beautiful in the morning and keeps patio and living room warm during the cooler time we were there. Also good setup for two couples or one couple and an office, as there is quite a bit of separation between the bedrooms / bathrooms. Front courtyard is nice and shady, with a beautiful grapefruit tree. If you want to live the country club life, this is a nice spot for sure!

We live in Vancouver and usually spend some time in the fall, over Christmas and New Years Eve, and then again in March and April. We don't bring the dogs, but dogs are always welcome.

What makes this property unique

Monterrey CC is one of the best managed resorts in the valley. It's close to shopping on El Paseo, groceries at Alberson's, Bristol Farms and Trader Joes. While there are the usual rules, the HOA operates with a light touch. An excellent place to enjoy the desert sunshine.
