Great property, located in a very charming village. Would have appreciated more communication from the host (only a phone call to explain briefly how to access the property, no message from host when we have informed we've checked out the property). Cleanliness could be improved especially as guests are paying cleaning fees (bin in laundry wasn't emptied, some cutlery in the kitchen drawers were still dirty, bin in kitchen was a bit smelly). Also, adding wifi for foreign guests would be a plus. Property is family-friendly with kids but not for toddlers or babies, due to the several steps in the house.

A sweet spot inthe middle of La Garde-Freinet

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The hosts were kind and helpful, the house was clean and comfortable, and the location was unbeatable. It's just a couple blocks from everything you want and need... Restaurants, groceries, shops, community gathering spaces, the bi-weekly street market... And just far enough from the main street to be quiet at night.
