L'Aiguillon sur Mer marks the entrance to the Vendée department. Recognized for its Baie de l'Aiguillon nature reserve, which is integrated into the Marais poitevin, its port, whose mooring is on wooden booms, is worth a detour. It stretches along the Lay estuary.
