La Maison d'Aubigny is a spacious home available year-round to welcome you with family, friends, or colleagues for a weekend or a week.
Located in the small hamlet of Aubigny, in Forterre (Yonne), right next to the Frétoy Forest, it is equidistant from the attractions of our beautiful region. The Basilica of Vézelay, the wine cellars of Irancy and Chablis, the castles of Saint-Fargeau and Guédelon, Colette’s house, and the towns of Auxerre, Toucy, and Clamecy, among others—because our region is truly worth a visit, just two hours from Paris.
With a total area of 300 square metres, facing due south and opening onto a large garden of over 8,000 square metres, the house is bathed in sunlight as soon as the sun comes out. It offers spacious common areas for gathering—a large 60-square-meter living room, a large dining table opening onto a spacious, fully equipped kitchen that seats 15—as well as beautiful, spacious bedrooms for quieter moments. We have six bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two separate bathrooms. Its vast landscaped garden delights guests of all ages, particularly thanks to its well-lit pétanque court. The house has no direct neighbors except for the Frétoy Forest in the distance, ensuring peace and relaxation.
Finally, the owner, Stéphane Bourgeot, is a former Maître Restaurateur, and you can ask him to work with you to arrange either prepared meals that will be waiting for you upon arrival or a private chef option where he’ll cook right in front of you. And why not organise a wine tasting at the house, or a bike ride through the vineyards? Stéphane knows the area well and works with reputable partners to offer you a unique experience during your stay.
