Excellent place to stay. Tucked back in the woods, away from any and all noice. Plan on zero cell reception, prepare for the use of WiFi. Don’t bring any of your own firewood. The host will provide firewood on site. Great relaxing atmosphere.
Very welcoming home, fresh fruit on the table and delicious brown eggs in the fridge with fresh pastry, orange juice and milk. The home is very clean and cozy. Loved the peace and quiet sitting out in the evenings and paddle boating on the pond was so relaxing. See you again next year!
The old farmhouse has been restored with great balance to look historic on the inside while providing the amenities of our current era. Loved having fires each night, the hiking trails, the wildlife, and the ponds. Great stay, thank you!
We met Doug. He was a wonderful host. He made sure we had enough firewood and made sure we felt at home. Jenn left us some wonderful muffins and fruit. Everything was perfect. The views are amazing and is very private. Even though it's in the country, it's still so close to everything. We went to the market and little Switzerland. There's so much to do we are planning a second trip. It's a great place to stay.
Very nice property and was a great stay. As for the directions there, the GPS got us to Stucky, but then took us Ore Mill and then thought we arrived at our destination there. Just stay on Stucky and look for the baseball field and turn there. The house was clean and quiet. Kids had a great time.
This was our 2nd time staying at this Property and it never disappoints. We had so much fun and can’t wait to come back next year. The hosts were super nice while giving us a warm welcome with the house phone and a nice call on our departure. We all loved the muffins along with the eggs, milk, juice, mini cereal for breakfast the following morning. We all had fun and enjoyed the lake. We forgot our fishing poles, so if your a fisher don’t forget yours.
It was a very nice and beautiful place. We wanted somewhere peaceful for a couple days away. The hosts were very welcoming. We will definitely be coming here again.
The property was exactly what my husband and I were looking for...we wanted to unplug and truly get away for our 21st anniversary (we have four kids!!), and this was a beautiful time to reconnect with each other and with God and nature! It was a bit rainy for our weekend, but we enjoyed sitting on the front porch just listening to the rain, the birds, and looking at the beautiful scenery! Definitely feel rejuvenated and refreshed...able to get back into the day-to-day life. Thanks so much!
The farmhouse was such a wonderful, clean and a peaceful place to stay. The host was very kind by checking in on us upon our arrival and by leaving just the simple little things like eggs, butter, milk, and of course some snacks. My husband and I would definitely stay her again!
We all enjoyed fishing and paddling around the lake. We loved being able to have campfires several nights. We enjoyed watching all the deer, turkeys and chipmunks. It was all so relaxing and peaceful.
