Stepping into this "lodge like" custom log cabin nestled in a private wooded natural dunes community on Lake Michigan will bring a smile:) The cozy A-frame greets you with a sun-filled enclosed porch, a Great Room with 24 foot ceilings overlooking full kitchen/island/bar, bay window/bird watching DR setting, inviting bedrooms and 3 outdoor decks, one with dining/grill.
Ideal location on Lake Michigan for families, couples, golfers, hikers, adventure seekers, bird-watchers and of course beach bathers. Enjoy a 5 minute walk to the beach for a swim, sunsets, or board walk to soda bar; take a marked trail hike, or hike to tennis/pickle/basket ball courts in the private wooded community. Children's Club House activities and tennis lessons, age 5-12 available daily M-F.
Activities nearby: several high-end golf courses, bicycling quaint South Haven and beaches or bicycle Kal Haven Trail, blueberry picking, charter fishing, also wineries and breweries nearby. South Haven 7 mi. Saugatuck 20+ mi. Fennville 20+ mi - all with restaurants and shopping.

The cottage is in a lovely picturesque wooded area close to the beach. It was clean, towels and linens were soft and the beds were comfortable. The host was very responsive and it was important to her that we had a nice stay. I highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed! We look forward to our stay next summer!

Spectacular private Lake Michigan beach access
This house sits in a private gated community with access to a very unique and spacious private community beach. The beach has a small river that flows on one side of the beach into Lake Michigan, perfect for young kids to splash around in. There is probably 100-150 feet of Lake Michigan frontage, and the beach is about 40 yards deep, very rare at a time when many private beaches have washed or eroded away.

Fabulous CabInn with Touches of Luxury
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at this amazingly stunning log house in the woods! We stayed a week with my four-year-old grandson, who, along with his Grammy, was in awe of the home, the woods and the beautiful beaches--especially Brandywine.
The soft and cozy linens managed to put that little bit of icing on the cake!
The stairway to the second level was a bit tricky, especially for little ones, but we were informed and used the stairs cautiously.
The owner of the property was only a text or call away when we had questions or needed to iron out a minor glitch or two.
This was one of my best vacations ever!!!
BTW: You may need an escort from the main entrance if you've never been here before. We were fortunate to have a gal pull up in a golf cart and lead us to the CABINN! The community gets an A+ for friendliness:)
