Andrés is a civil engineer from Monterrey who arrived in this part of Mexico in 2004 and began working as a construction site supervisor. Over time, he built his own construction company, which specializes in high-end finishes and created Villa Tayrona.
Elly is a Swiss-American who has been living in Bucerías since 2011. She is the founder of Human Connections, a nonprofit that connects travelers with local artisans through cultural tours.
Andrés and Elly got married in 2017 and created Villa Tayrona as a synthesis of their passions.

Why they chose this property
Just 30 minutes away from Sayulita and the Puerto Vallarta airport, Bucerías is a beach town known for its extensive coastline and cultural diversity. Villa Tayrona is located in a less touristy part of town, surrounded by little shops and taco stands, and just 7 blocks away from the beach. Here, you will enjoy an immersive, localized experience while having easy access to all of the tourist attractions.

This is a space unlike any other. The quality of the craftsmanship and furnishings is top-of the-line, and the layout is completely different from a traditional villa.
