About the host
Hosted by Wonder Honesdale
Hello and welcome to Wonder! I was born and raised in Honesdale, where my family’s roots go back to the mid-1800s. After graduating from Honesdale High School, I earned my degree from Penn State University and spent a semester studying in Sevilla, Spain. My career then took me to Toronto, Southern California, and Northern Mexico, where I worked in marketing and business development.
In 2005, I returned home to join my father at RE/MAX Wayne, the family business my parents founded in 1993. Today, alongside my father and my wife, Heather, we proudly lead three offices serving our region. Over the years, our family has been deeply involved in revitalizing Main Street and supporting the Honesdale community.
I’m passionate about this town and love sharing it with our guests. When I’m not working, I’m enjoying time with Heather and our three children, Sadie, Zachary, and Jesse.
We’re so glad you’re here and hope you love Honesdale as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
This historic building sat vacant for many years, and after driving past it daily and watching it slowly deteriorate, I decided to take a leap of faith and restore it. With the help of Samuelle Green, a high school friend, neighbor to Wonder, and incredibly talented artist and designer we transformed the space into something special for Main Street Honesdale.
Today, the building is home to Native Honesdale restaurant, Be Kind Bake House, and six beautifully designed Wonder Lofts. It was a long journey, but seeing this corner of downtown brought back to life and contributing to the revitalization of our community has made it all worthwhile.
What makes this property unique
Stay in the heart of downtown Honesdale at Wonder, a beautifully restored historic building offering luxury loft living above two local favorites. Enjoy dining at Native Honesdale restaurant and start your morning with fresh coffee and baked goods from Be Kind Bake House, both located right downstairs.
Each loft is uniquely designed with modern finishes and thoughtful details throughout. Guests enjoy fully equipped kitchens, spa-style walk-in multi-jet showers, memory foam sleeper sofas, Smart TVs with streaming services, Google Nest speakers, complimentary coffee and tea, and more, everything you need for a comfortable and elevated stay.
