Charming chalet nestled in the heart of a preserved family ski resort in the Northern Alps, facing the Chablais massif, between lakes and mountains. It is above the village of Bernex, blended into the scenery with its typical Haute-Savoie architecture that - La Ferme de l'Âne Rouge - was born. A project resulting from the renovation of the family farm, it was designed with the desire for a living chalet, able to accommodate a large family, friends, a place where young and old can meet in a friendly atmosphere. With its 380m2, it combines authenticity and modernity, sticking to our image and our values which are the simplicity and harmony of contemporary design and traditional materials. Our wish is to offer a place of welcome that is designed as an escape for relaxation and rest only a few minutes from the city centre and the slopes. This chalet on two levels has been designed to comfortably accommodate 15 people, including a maximum of twelve adults. It is composed on the ground floor of a large living space with its living room, dining room and bar where the atmosphere is warm with its magnificent wood stove. A kitchen equipped with professional equipment, and sanitary facilities with washing machine/dryer. Small living room with television and board games, library and sofa bed. Its large sunny terrace with a view of the mountains in an idyllic setting. The ground floor is served by a mezzanine with a sofa bed and 4 bedrooms with private shower room and toilet. The rooms have different views of the Chablais massif and its ski slopes. Each bathroom is equipped with hairdryer, soap and shampoo. Bed and bath linen are included. Optional: to be booked and paid directly on site we have a dormitory for 8 children and a room for 2 people on the ground floor with bathroom. Outside, a ping-pong table is available under the terrace with 1 slide and 1 swing. Young and old alike will be able to enjoy the farm animals that are around the land (sheep - sheep - goats - donkeys - chickens). It will even be possible to come and see and/or participate in the return of the animals at the end of the day during the weekend. Animals are accepted only after validation by the host. Bernex is located 10 km south-east of Évian-les-Bains and west of the Dent d'Oche, in the Chablais massif and close to the Swiss border (Geneva, Lausanne, Montreux). Many activities are possible in summer and winter (Skiing - Mountain biking - hiking - swimming, etc.).
