Walls trimmed in cedar, tin ceilings and walls, barn door, unique bath and shower with 40 inch TV, stocked coffee bar with Keurig, refrigerator and microwave, ceiling fan, comfortable queen size bed, couch with twin sleeper. Mini Split AC unit. Accommodations include WiFi, towels, toiletries, linens, bottled water, and snacks.

Here you can experience peaceful and quiet evenings, relaxing by the fireplace on the outdoor patio, fishing out of the acre pond or just sit by the water and enjoy a fire on the dock in the chiminea. You are 5 minutes from the quaint town of Emory where you will find restaurants, shopping, and supermarkets. You are 10 minutes from Lake Fork and Lake Tawakoni where there’s great fishing, 20 minutes from Canton’s historical First Monday and 25 minutes away from the charming town of Sulphur Springs. Wedding guest getaway

We were in town for a wedding about 30 minutes away. This was a cute little place that allowed us to get ready before the wedding and stay after the wedding and sleep in. The MRCOOL kept the place perfectly cold! The mattress was great! We loved being able to have our morning coffee out in swings looking out over the beautiful view. We live on a farm so we were right at home with the outside sounds putting us to sleep! Tub and sink are super cute but not made for short people! lol! I managed just fine though. Great place to stay!

Eclipse trip

Perfect for our purpose. We wanted to watch the eclipse without a crowd. Got to watch it by ourselves on a beautiful property. Would highly recommend Double D for couples looking for intimacy and relaxation.

I just loved the bathroom and ease of use with everything. Instructions were written clearly and the property was beautiful. We didn’t get to be there much because of a fishing tournament that we were in, but I would definitely stay again.
