Children’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!
Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!
DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.
Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. It also features breakfast daily at Bay Watch Cafe located in the center tower. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

Fun time!!
Resort was awesome so many pools to chose from. Room was great, only problem was the door access was very hard to use.

Staff was super nice and helpful. Lots of pools and hot tubs. Great food a the bar and grill on site. Towels or whatever we needed were supplied quickly. Plenty to do for adults and kids nearby. Pet friendly. My only complaint was the elevators in the hotel and parking garage were a bit slow but I guess considering the number of people they were servicing, that was to be expected.
Stay was awesome. Property could use some TLC. Not a fan of the parking garage. No smoking facility. Can not even smoke on the balcony!

Not worth the money
Outdated Dirty walls. Dirty stove front. Torn carpet. Uncomfortable couch. Uncomfortable chair. Uncomfortable beds. Air couldn’t be turned low enough to cool. Only 1 frying pan in kitchen. 2 small pots. Not worth the money we spent to stay. Won’t be returning to BayWatch.

Expectations exceeded.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Bay Watch #434. The views, especially of the sunrises and sunsets, from our oceanfront balcony were spectacular. The weather was a little chilly (not unexpected for late December) so it was nice to be able to enjoy the indoor pools and hot tubs. We took advantage of the well equipped kitchen and prepared several of our meals to save money. However, we did also make use of a few of the many stores/restaurants, some of which were within walking distance of our accommodations. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We reported that the safe in our room was not functioning and, within an hour, a technician responded and made the necessary repairs. Only one suggestion we can make is to add a dish towel(s) and oven mitt(s) in the kitchen. Otherwise, we were very pleased with our 4-day stay in North Myrtle Beach. Our anniversary is December 28th, and we usually try to 'get away' to celebrate. We will definitely consider staying at this location again.

Disappointed!
We’ve stayed at this resort numerous times over the years, and this was by far the worst experience. We found a cockroach in the room (and the front desk did not care- actually laughed when we requested someone remove it). We did not receive clean towels for 2-3 days (before someone brought them- they wouldn’t allow us to pick up). Requested toilet paper- took 2 days, and a trip to the front desk to get. Every time we have stayed we had a washer and dryer in the unit, this time there was none. Lazy river was closed for portion of trip. Overall, we were not happy.

Great location and the best staff that I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. My room was as clean as it could be but was in desperate need of a face lift. Walls were dingy, furniture was worn, dishwasher and refrigerator had rust on them, towel racks were loose in bathroom, and the entry door needed major help. The overall property is in need of routine maintance and attention. With that said, the staff, location and room design could not have been better. Overall, this vacation was still pretty perfect!!

Everything was good. All the staff we polite. Down to all of the cleaning people. There was one woman at the front desk. We talked to her three times. Two were me and one was my wife. She was rude all three times. But every other staff member were super polite. So they made up for her actions. Room was very nice. Pools were dirty about the whole time we were here. (3 days). Seemed like every pool was dirty. All of the outside pools and inside pools. Didnt look like any of them were cleaned our whole stay

Great weekend getaway
Pros- This was a nice condo with great views! For the most part, our neighbors were quiet. The kids enjoyed swimming in the lazy river. We loved that this was on the fourth floor and the ice machine was right there by our room. The condo was clean. We don’t have any complaints about the condo. The resort however was just ok. The resort restaurants were over priced and some people who lived there weren’t the nicest.

Room 434 needs work!!
The amenities that the property has to offer are great, however, the room I stayed in, room 434 was very subpar. Furniture and appliances were very old and broken down. Rust all over the fridge, couch cushions gross and sunken in (covered the couch with a sheet because it just looked nasty), dresser drawers off tracks/broken in places...very raggedy room. It was fairly clean and the rest of the property was nice but not sure I would stay again with the condition of the room.
