: located 1 km from the cathedral Although it is very clean, the Gounod Hotel building smells of sewage in the mornings

Great, convenient location with easy access to free parking if you have a vehicle and the train. Everything is close by including Meriadeck Mall so groceries are easy to get—right across the street. Space is small best for 2 people. Modern apartment and building. We stayed 8 days and felt it was a great value.
