Nice apartment, terrible area

The apartment is nice, washer dryer and AC are great. The area, however, is absolutely terrible. There is no parking other than street parking, so if you have a car, tickets are inevitable and very expensive. I had a car totaled in a hit & run on the side of the road outside of the apartment. My new car had its windows smashed twice (nothing in the car, just smashed the windows). And the final straw was being mugged right outside of the apartment.
