Ms. Ashley was awesome!!! The stay was good and bed was veeeeery comfortable. Loved waking up and watching the ponies outside. The dogs were very sweet as well. Waking up to warm muffins was the best.
This place is amazing to relax and get away. Check in was super easy and Ms. Ashley is an amazing person. She does have two super cute fur babies. We hope to return in the future.
We felt very at home and enjoyed visiting with owner! This would not be for everyone but homey and loved by the owner! You must be ok with dogs and the great outdoors Really enjoyed our stay. Slept well!
What a great place!!! I absolutely loved it!! Ashley was so awesome!! I have never slept so much!! What a great vacation!! I needed this in the worst way!! I'm so blessed to see my son also!! Thank you Ashley!!! You're the best!! Love and miss you bunches!! I'll be back!!
Stayed with Ashley while we ride our horses at Broxton Bridge Plantation. There was another party renting at the property at the same time which made things a bit congested.
What a cute quiet property. Ashley is an amazing host and muffin baker. Will stay again anytime I'm in the area. Thank you for making my daughters weekend with allowing her to help with the horse's.
Thanks again!!!
Pam
We we’re looking for something close to the Kansas Speedway and found Lazy Dog Acres to be the perfect find.
Ashley was a sweetheart. The minute we meet felt like we had been friends for years.
We so enjoyed her warm hospitality and cozy surroundings.
Till we meet again....Take care, Friend
If you are looking for some country charm, Lazy Dog Acres is your fix. Ashley and her pets will make you feel very welcomed to this small acreage. Whether it is with coffee on the front porch in the morning or your favorite beverage on the back patio in the evening, you will find this place very peaceful and relaxing. It was the perfect place to stay during our visit to Weston and we would do it again.
Ashley and Isa are perfect hosts! My husband and I were on a weekend getaway. If you love nature, beauty, but still want to be minutes away from activities, then you should consider Lazy Dog Acres. We will be back Ashley. Thank you so very much for your hospitality and those delicious and huge morning muffins!

Such a great place!
I live about 4 hours from Platte City! I needed some quite time and to get away from the busy life! Lazy Dog Acres is soooo amazing! You love the farm life come here! Ashley was great! I had everything I needed at the house. I loved the dogs & I got to help outside with the horses! Plus if you get a chance to stay when Ron and Shelia are there, they are fun, great people!
I can’t wait to go back in the summer! Plus Ashley makes the best muffins!

It was the rest and relaxation getaway we needed!
We had everything needed to relax and recharge. We enjoyed getting to know the owner and the animals on the property. We recommend this VRBO if you are looking to disconnect from the hectic life and recharge in the country with all the amenities needed to do so. If you need something to do you're not so far out from Kansas City or Platte City that you can't find something fun to do. We will stay again!

Pleasant space, good night's sleep, warm hospitality
Ashley and the dogs welcomed us as the rain began. We woke to the rain continuing in the morning. Front porch coffee wake-up was pleasant. Cooked our meals and cooled food in the frig till departure. Very accommodating and comfortable. Hope to return one day.

A very chill place that's far enough from the city life
Ms. Ashley was very friendly and appreciative of the help around the property. Staying there was overall relaxing to the point that I did not want to go anywhere and even took a nap with one of the canines. They're both friendly, btw, especially the mini-horse size one.
Be sure to let her know your general height. The upstairs shower ceiling, which is slanted, was just high enough for me (5'7") to be comfortable. Speaking of upstairs, the bedroom felt really fancy in a nostalgic way.
I definitely plan on going back someday.

Beautiful, peaceful farm home full of charm.
Ashley helped to make my first visit to the Midwest a great one. Everything about this place is special starting from the owner and dogs, to the sunsets and grounds.
