Awesome Get Away

Everything was great for our friends-cation and fishing trip. We were unable to find someone to watch our dogs, but the property is dog friendly, which was very helpful! My 5 year old son absolutely loved the cabin and bunk beds. Between a stocked pond, fire pit, very close and easy access to the marina for boat rentals, and plenty of bedding and bathrooms, we had a great weekend!

Great weekend getaway

A great property and log home to get away to for a bit. Definitely would go back. Weather wasn’t the best but so many things to do on the property and plenty of dry firewood for the stove indoors or fire pit outside. Big bathrooms and plenty of space and things to do if you’re stuck inside. Had an issue with a first floor smoke detector beeping at night and alarm panel beeping in the early A.M. but still a great property and home.

Wedding miracle

Beautiful location. Had everything needed. Worked great for multiple ages and very quiet and private. Great cabin with fire pit and grill. Would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for renting it out and making it possible to get everything thing ready for a wedding.

Basement Restroom

One issue we had was the restroom in the basement toilet was leaking around the base. Might need a new wax ring. We turned water off and didn’t use on 1st afternoon. The water is still off.

Warm retreat during first cold weekend

We took our elderly fathers with us to Seclusion and thoroughly enjoyed our stay during the first truly cold weekend of the year. We got a lot of use out of the wood stove! Cabin is immaculate, exactly as described. We'd love to return.

Wonderful family retreat!

We had a wonderful stay at Seclusion. The cabin is new and beautifully furnished and decorated, with all amenities needed for a wonderful weekend (including complimentary ingredients for s'mores and a bottle of wine!) We brought our children along and they loved catching frogs near the pond, fishing, and just exploring the property. The host was extremely responsive when I alerted him about a minor housekeeping issue, and graciously compensated us for the inconvenience. We would definitely recommend Seclusion for a quiet, lovely getaway!

Very relaxing!

Thank you so much our little mini vacation was great, we enjoyed nature walks & the fishing middle grandson caught his first fish ever!! I did have one bed that the sheets weren't cleaned but there's facilities there it wasn't a biggy for me...I highly recommend this cabin!! Infact I believe my daughter is thinking of booking...lovely peaceful & relaxing
