Très belle location. La vue sur le Mont-Blanc est magnifique. Le village est un point de départ idéal pour la rando et le vélo.

Fantastische chalet aan het les 3 Vallées skigebied met top gastheer

Wij logeerden in Chalet Louisette met 2 gezinnen en de grootouders: in totaal 6 volwassenen en 6 kinderen en het huis was perfect wat we zochten. Het huis is erg aangenaam gelegen in een rustig dorp, op een kwartiertje autorit, over een makkelijke weg, van de skiliften. Het deed ons deugd na een drukke sportdag, in deze rust thuis te komen. Het dorp Sain-Jean heeft zijn authentieke charmes behouden en is weinig toeristisch, maar is zeer goed geconnecteerd (bv.supermarkt 10min.). De zichten over de vallei zijn fantastisch en het huis zelf kijkt langs alle zijden op besneeuwde toppen uit. De living heeft full view richting Mont Blanc, en ook vanuit de hot tub op het terras geniet je van dit magische zicht. Het ruime terras kijkt op het zuiden uit, in de namiddag was het er, zelfs op koude dagen, fijn in de zon zitten. Ook vanuit het huis, geniet je al mee van de omliggende natuur. Het huis is pas geheel gerenoveerd, maar heeft de charmes van de oude challet of 'grange' weten te behouden. Alle modern comfort is voorzien, erg aangenaam was de vloerverwarming. De leefruimte en eetplaats zijn zeer ruim en leuk ingericht. De keuken is heel groot, geriefelijk en al wat je maar kan nodig hebben is voorzien. Zoals... belangrijk: een goede koffiemachine! Elke slaapkamer heeft een eigen sanitair in alle comfort. Maar we waren ook fan van de grote entree, met ruimte genoeg voor skilatten, een soort machine om je ski-botten te laten drogen, kapstokken en bankjes,... Er is parkeerplek voor de deur. Thierry heeft werkelijk aan alles gedacht. Thierry is de perfecte gastheer, hij is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij communiceert zeer vlot en duidelijk. Hij zorgde dat we ons meteen erg welkom voelden. Bijvoorbeeld, hielp hij ons op weg met het ophalen van ons materiaal, de skipassen, naar de eerste ski-les,... Hij maakte ons wegwijs in de streek, tipte en boekte ons de perfecte restaurants,... We spraken ook regelmatig met hem af voor het transport van en naar de skipistes in zijn busje. Die mogelijkheid gaf nog extra comfort. Maar de afstand was zo kort dat we ook soms ’s middags thuis gingen lunchen of de grootouders tot bij ons kwamen halfweg de piste. Het skigebied biedt heel wat mogelijkheden: zelfs in deze te warme winter bleven de pistes open. Ook de grootouders die niet op de latten gingen, namen af en toe een lift naar enkele spectaculaire uitkijkpunten. Of ze bezochten enkele van de barokke kerkjes in de streek.
