About this property

Pike Lake Lodge is nestled on 2.5 wooded acres just outside Duluth and only 2.5 hours from Minneapolis. Located on the shoreline of Pike Lake - one of the most popular lakes in the area. It's known for its clear water and sandy beaches.
There is a golf course and restaurant on the east end of the lake (Pike Lake Golf and Beach Club) that is open to the public. In the summer you can rent a pontoon boat there. The property features several nice amenities such as a Finnish sauna, sport court, outdoor fire pit (some wood provided), private sandy beach, pinball machine, bubble hockey, wet bar, ping pong table, gas fireplace and beach house with additional sleeping areas. Beautifully lit pathways guide your stroll around the property. Inside the home is a true 'up north' feel and you'll have more than enough space for your entire group with over 4,300 sq. ft. and an awe-inspiring 30' high vaulted living room ceiling. Cozy up with a good book by the fireplace. Or get the whole family together for a movie in the basement on the 70" big screen TV. Music lovers will enjoy speakers throughout the home and outdoors, where you can immerse yourself in sound. Kids will enjoy the pinball machine and bubble hockey in the basement and ping pong table in the garage. And everyone will enjoy the hot tub too! This is our group’s third year lodging here for our event in Duluth. It’s been a delight each time. We were very comfortable and had fun with all the amenities. The kids were even brave enough to get in the cold April water!
It was great! Had a little problem with a toilet overflowing but we could handle it. First night couldn’t get the hot tub hot enough but problem solved next day, all is well.
Impressive beautiful log home! Enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and great games for the kids… pinball, bubble hockey and ping pong. Great hospitality! We are hoping to stay again this summer and enjoy the lake!
This is a great home for family gatherings. We enjoyed the water, the hot tub and the fire pit. The location is close to Duluth, so we were able to partake in day trips of hiking and touring. I would stay again.
We have stayed in many VRBOs and this one is one of the best. Well stocked, clean, comfortable beds, great beach, good fishing lake, and close to grocery stores and activities in Duluth.
Hot tub was perfect. We didn’t use the sauna but that’s because we have one and don’t have a hot tub. So that was a priority. The location is perfect and my husband and grandkids caught a ton of perch! So thankful to have found this place for our family. Also thanks for the coffee!! We plan to order some!
My two daughters and their families joined my husband and I for a Thanksgiving gathering and it was grand! We made our feast there, watched movies, played games, hot tubes, sauned, took walks, and just enjoyed being together. I couldn’t have asked for anything better and in such a beautiful place.
Wonderful home on a beautiful lake. Great fit for our family. Nice to have private sleeping areas, as well as a hot tub, sauna and kayaks! And a nightly fire in the beach, it was perfect
Beautiful cabin! It has everything we needed and much more for 3 families. Wish we had stayed longer, kids didn’t want to leave yet. Absolutely will book this cabin in the future again!
Beautiful property, well stocked, slept 11 of us easily and comfortably, and just 20-25 minutes from Duluth. Really enjoyed the hot tub, game room, and beach/lake/kayaks. Everything was great! Only wish we’d had more time!
The house was clean and very nice. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and beach area. The house is at the end of a long wooded driveway, which gives the feeling of being remote while still being near local sites and shopping. Chris, the onsite caretaker, was great and helpful.
The home is amazing. There is no shortage of space. Beautiful hot tub, amazing sauna, playroom in basement, ping pong in garage plus a basketball court and a lake with fish. I don’t see how anyone wouldn’t enjoy staying at this location. It is truly remarkable and we had a wonderful time.
Lovely place for our family vacation. Plenty of space. Teenagers loved the sauna. Adults loved the hot tub. Owner extremely responsive and nice. Willing to do what it takes to make our vacation enjoyable.
Our family of 15 had an exceptionally good time in this wonderful Pike Lake home. We had great weather and sand beach time for the kids building castles and bridges of all kinds. Several enjoyed the sauna on two different nights and the fishing folks caught lots of bass over 6 days. There was something for everyone and the beautiful house made our stay so enjoyable.

Why they chose this property
We can't get enough of the north shore of Lake Superior! We bought this property because it's a great jumping off point for all that this part of the state has to offer. The outdoor activities around here are endless!
What makes this property unique
One unique benefit of this property is it's proximity to both "civilization" and the wilderness. At night, you can hear a pin drop and see millions of stars and possibly the northern lights. During the day, you can run a quick errand to the Miller Hill Mall area or downtown Duluth, located just minutes away. You're close enough to town you can even have a pizza delivered but far enough away to get that "up north" feel.
