Welcome to our family home, “A l’Orée de la Piaine”
. It is a contemporary home from the 1980s, designed by an architect. It is nestled in a lush green setting just outside the village of Sainte-Hermine. You’ll reach it in 5 minutes after exiting the Nantes-Niort highway.
Its charm lies in the feeling of seclusion and freedom on over 5,000 m² of land, with no immediate neighbors and surrounded by lush greenery.
The property
Outside, you’ll find an (11x5) pool that can be heated as needed. In addition to the dining table on the terrace, there’s a covered outdoor dining area with a unique table, a charcoal grill, and a set of pétanque balls. Parties and long evenings with friends will make for lasting memories.
Inside, you’ll be torn between the modern architecture of the 1980s and the rustic, sometimes traditional Vendée-style furnishings. The large living room will give you a warm welcome with its fireplace. The table extends as needed to accommodate the number of guests.
The sleeping area features five bedrooms, and you’ll share two bathrooms with showers and bathtubs.

The entire house is accessible to you, except for the garage area.

The beds are made up with linens, and you’ll find towels in the bathrooms to dry off.

For those who love to cook, the kitchen is equipped with induction cooktops, an oven, and a microwave; two refrigerators (one with a freezer); a coffee maker; a toaster; and—to protect your nails—a dishwasher.

The laundry room features a washing machine and dryer to help you out; for the more eco-conscious, clothes racks and a clothesline are available.
