About this property
Miss Daisy's Lodge, a spacious park model RV near the Great Smokey Mountains
Miss Daisy’s Lodge is a 2021 Wildwood Grand Lodge 42FK Park Model RV. She is set up on Lot 199 located in the Outdoor Resorts of Gatlinburg (ORG) - just 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg right off US-321, . As we own the lot she sits on, there are no additional resort/campground fees due by anyone renting her from us.
Miss Daisy’s Lodge will comfortably sleep a total of 10 people. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, while the living room has two sleeper sofas that each make into full size beds. The upstairs loft is a fantastic hideout for kids and will sleep 5 to 6 (Teddy Bear Mattresses). The living room also includes theater seating across from a 50” TV, fireplace & stereo system!
The kitchen is fully stocked w/pots, pans, dishes, etc. It includes a full-size residential refrigerator w/ice maker, a full-size microwave, residential oven/ 3 burner stove, coffee maker, air fryer, toaster and a large pantry. The kitchen sink is a double deep sink for ease of cleanup after dinner at the Lodge. The kitchen table will sit 4 comfortably next to large windows with a view of the resort. The only thing you should need in the kitchen is food & drinks.
The bathroom at the Lodge has a porcelain toilet and a large vanity w/sink. The full-size shower is nice after a long day of playing in the mountains. We have also stocked the bathroom with towels, washcloths, and toilet paper to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We offer sheets, blankets, pillows & pillowcases for the queen bed, both sleeper sofas, and the Teddy Bear mattresses. In addition to the queen bed in the master bedroom, we have a 32” TV & DVD player. The master also includes a large dresser, a closet for hanging clothes, and a nightstand next to the bed with both 110 outlets & USB outlets for charging phones & tablets.
The outside of the Lodge hasn’t been forgotten either. A large electric awning provides much-needed summertime shade while listening to your outside speakers. We have outdoor seating for 10 people and a fire pit, so nights are truly enjoyable! The charcoal grill sits next to a table for those nights of grilling & eating outside.
You can relax by one of two pools – an adults only pool or the family pool. If you like to fish, ORG also offers a stocked lake as well as two mountain streams that run through it. Additionally, the resort offers basketball courts, miniature golf, a children’s playground, game room, and picnic areas, as well as a coin-operated laundry onsite. ORG is conveniently located near most of the activities the Smoky Mountains have to offer. It is literally across the street from the Smoky Mountains National Park, less than a mile from Bent Creek Golf Course, 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, 15 miles from Pigeon Forge & I-40, 20 miles from Sevierville and 25 miles from Townsend & Newport.
Miss Daisy’s Lodge has long been a dream for my wife & me. Ever since I left the Navy in 1994 and moved to East Tennessee, we have dreamed of owning a cabin in the mountains. Raising three children may have put that dream on pause for a time, but we now find ourselves being able to share that dream with both our children & grandchildren. Miss Daisy’s Lodge may not be your typical cabin in the mountains, but we have gone out of our way to make it look & feel like a mountain cabin. Honestly in Outdoor Resorts of Gatlinburg with all the amenities, we feel she is better than any mountain cabin we could have bought. Please take a minute to look at all our pictures, both of our new “cabin” and of the resort as well. We think you will find it as appealing as we have!

About the host
Hosted by Bob & Trudy Ashcraft
I'm a U.S. Navy Veteran, Father of three, and Grandfather of four. My wife & I live ~ 50 miles west of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Cades Cove Entrance) and in my opinion, some of the most beautiful scenery our great country has to offer. Of course, there is no better way to see and enjoy that landscape up close than there is by camping! Some of my best memories growing up were the weekends I spent with my Grandparents camping, and I always wanted to give those same type of memories to my Grandchildren! My wife & I have truly enjoyed our time spent camping and especially the times we have spent with our grandchildren and hope to be able to give those same type of memories to others!
What makes this property unique
Please be aware that bears do frequently walk though the resort and often get into any trash left outside! Dozens of owners within the resort have captured video of bears strolling through the resort as well. With that said we have added outdoor cameras on both sides of the RV in hopes of capturing video ourselves to post on our website. The cameras are only capturing video and the sound is turned off.
