We highly recommend this lovely cottage! Clean, very quiet only in the daytime some traffic noise, but at night, total peace. The home is well equipped, very clean and well looked after. Although in the daytime the temperature was 30, the cottage stayed cool.The owners are lovely warm people. Although our French is limited, we communicated well.We stayed here to visit la source de L'Escault. We cycled (ebikes) there. We can also recommend a visit to the Musee de touage. Very interesting indeed. There are a lot of lovely villages in the area and if you want WW I or II memorials, here lies a lot of sad history. Like the break in the Hindenburgline.Food: not all restaurants that appear to be open on Google maps, might not be opened. However we had a nice lunch in Riqueval. We feel the price of the cottage is on the low side. So we'll equipped, such a lovely place to start exploring the area. There was only one thing we missed im the cottage and that is wifi.
