Very nice rebuilt farm building in the Loire

We stayed for three very relaxing nights, using this as a base to visit the Parc Orientale de Maulévrier. We also stopped at a very small farmer’s market in a neighboring town with excellent produce that we are enjoying as I write this review.

A wonderful stay

The location was very near to town with groceries and bakery. The gite was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly to us and our children. We were able to see baby owls take flight and spend evenings wandering the garden. Highly recommended.

We have enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house, great design, excellent facilities, two bedrooms. It’s all peace and quiet, situated on a large domain, nearby a castle. The village of Bellevigne-En-Layon (7 minutes walk) offers the shops one might need; boulangerie, pharmacie, et cetera. . The owners of the house are friendly and most helpful if you need something.

Wow! What a beautiful property set in the most stunning grounds. The property is finished to a high standard, very modern and clean. Fully equipped with everything you need. The place is very relaxing. Gilles and IIona were both very helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Also we enjoyed meeting Gerard the friendly peacock. Will definitely book again.

A beautiful place to stay in a stunning location

We had a wonderful couple of days staying in this beautifully restored and appointed old farm building. The location is fantastic for exploring the Loire, and the chateau and gardens immediately surrounding the property are absolutely stunning. There is even a resident friendly peacock! Giles and Ilona were fantastic hosts. They very generously brought round some bottles of the local wine for us to try, and we insisted they join us for a glass. One glass turned to many and we spent a wonderful evening enjoying their great company! We will definitely be staying there again!

We spent a glorious week at this very special Gite. We enjoyed an immersion in total peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. Communication was great ahead of our stay. The check-in process was seamless and it was great getting to know Gilles and Ilona a little and learn about their plans for their amazing estate which they are renovating. This Gite is a must for anyone visiting the Loire Valley as it is very quiet but not far from local amenities. We highly recommend the Gite and will (without any doubt) be visiting again. Thanks to Gilles and Ilona for making us so welcome.

Séjour parfait

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine, merci encore à Gilles et Ilona pour leur accueil et leurs précieux conseils pour la visite de la région,En famille avec 2 enfants en bas âge, nous avons visité le bioparc et la distillerie de rose à Doué-la-Fontaine, nous sommes passés tester les vins de la région aux domaines des Chapelles (accueil très sympa), côté restau il y a l’auberge du Layon à Rablay-sur-Layon et la guinguette de béhuard (convivial pour boire un verre et manger des bons produits locaux)

un petit paradis

Un gite très bien décoré, dans un environnement de nature, très confortable avec un must : une cheminée à bois très agréable. Un accueil très convivial de la part des propriétaires, ceux-ci étant aux petits soins et très disponibles pendant tout le séjour. Ha, j oubliais, Gérard, le paon venait nous dire bonjour chaque jour !!! Le région est superbe, beaucoup de découvertes à faire. des vacances très agréables

Exzeptionelle

Liebevoll sanierte Wohnung mit überdurchschnittlicher Ausstattung. Wundervolle Umgebung mit Ruhe, aber auch vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Sehr, sehr nette Gastgeber. Kommunikation völlig unproblematisch. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Perfekt: Großartige nette und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Nigelnagelneue schöne Unterkunft mit z.B. hochmoderner Küche in frisch renoviertem Wirtschaftsgebäude der Schlossanlage, inmitten von ca. 10 Hektar Wald und Garten. Insbesondere das Haupthaus/Schloss wird noch renoviert....die Baumaßnahmen bekommt man aber überhaupt nicht mit. Wenn nochmal Anyou dann gerne wieder da!

Loin de l'agitation des grandes villes, propice au repos et/ou au télétravail, un gîte tout confort et rénové avec beaucoup de goût dans un parc de toute beauté. Nous avons pu rayonner vers quelques domaines viticoles et châteaux (et leurs jardins). Charmant accueil des propriétaires qui vous parleront avec passion de leur beau projet de rénovation. Un lieu que nous recommandons pour des courts ou plus longs sejours. Nous reviendrons volontiers ! passionnés et leurs jardind.

Un petit sejour que nous avons énormément apprécié dans un logement aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et d’une propreté irréprochable dans un environnement très calme, très bien situé pour découvrir la région. Traumhaft schön - Erholung pur

Haus und Garten sind eine wahre Wohlfühloase. Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail und hochwertig renoviert worden. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet. In absolut ruhiger Umgebung lädt der Garten zur Entspannung ein. Sehr bequeme Gartenmöbel sind dabei sehr hilfreich. Es hat uns hier an nichts gefehlt. Gilles und Ilona sind die perfekten Gastgeber. Sie sind sehr sympathisch, freundlich und immer zur Stelle, wenn es Fragen gibt. Es gab Wein zu verkosten, der besonders war. Ein lustiger, freundlicher Pfau wohnt auch dort. Er war uns ein bißchen ans Herz gewachsen. Thouarcé ist ein schönes kleines Örtchen. Hier ist ganz um die Ecke alles was man braucht. Bäcker, Metzger, Supermarkt, Tankstelle. Von hier aus kann man viele sehenswerte Orte erkunden. Er gibt sehr viel zu sehen. Danke Gilles und Ilona! Es war eine sehr schöne, entspannte Zeit. Wir haben das alles sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Séjour dépaysant et ressourçant:-)

C'est dans un cadre campagnard que nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par nos hôtes. Quel plaisir de bénéficier de lits tout prêts et du linge de maison nécessaire sur place. Nous avons tout de suite reçu de précieux conseils tant pour les visites incontournables (liées aux âges de nos enfants: 6, 8 et 11 ans) que pour la dégustation de l'un ou l'autre vin de la région. Nos enfants ont eu beaucoup de plaisir à observer de nombreux animaux (chevreuils, écureuils, renards, ...). Les balades à pieds et à vélo n'ont pas manqué et ce, sans devoir utiliser la voiture. Merci à nos chaleureux hôtes, Gilles et Ilona, pour ce séjour inoubliable!!

Superbe séjour ressourçant !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un cadre de verdure magnifique. La location est située à la campagne, au calme absolu ! Emplacement idéal pour les visites de la région. Toutes commodités à proximité. Au départ de la location, de nombreuses promenades à pied sont accessibles. Le soir, les couchés de soleil sur les champs de blé sont incroyables ! Merci pour ce séjour fantastique, nous reviendrons.

Un très agréable séjour

Un cadre très agréable dans cette dépendance fraichement refaite. on s'y sent vite très bien. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et avenants. Le parc est agréable. La situation dans l'anjou était idéale pour nous et pour qui veut en faire un séjour viticole ! Encore merci !

Superbe séjour dans des conditions optimales !!!

Ilona et Gilles sont des hôtes remarquables, tant par leur gentillesse que par leur bienveillance et leur sens de l'accueil. Nous sommes venus séjourner pour les fêtes de fin d'année, et avons goûté avec grand plaisir la qualité de la prestation qu'ils proposent : gîte aménagé dans une dépendance du château, belle restauration avec des matériaux et équipements de qualité, grand confort, environnement magnifique, calme assuré... Une immersion dans la nature avec néanmoins tous les commerces et services dans le village proche. Et pour couronner le tout, le paon Gérard vient vous saluer le matin... Un pur régal !!! Nous recommandons cette adresse sans hésitation. Merci encore à Ilona et Gilles. Au plaisir de les retrouver prochainement...
