Wonderful Villa with a magnificent view of the Riva and harbor beyond. Villa is located in the historic heart of the seaside town of Hvar. From its magnificent stone baroque balcony, it captures breathtaking views of the Riva esplanade and the harbor beyond. Modern yachts and classic sailboats adorn the waterfront just meters away while Fortica, the 16th Century Fortress, protectively watches over this popular port of call and the surrounding Pakleni Islands.
The Villa was originally built in 1612, during the Baroque period, when Venice exhibited a strong influence all along Adriatic. Today it is preserved as a heritage monument and is protected under the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments.
It was first owned by the well-known Stalio family as well as the Marchi family, one of the oldest Italian families in Hvar. The Villa, along with the Gothic pool house and garden was fully renovated between 2007 and 2009, in strict accordance with the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments.
Pool heating is possible as an option and will be charged 50 euros per day.

Amazing villa with a perfect location

Villa is simply amazing. Located in the central location of town. Few steps from riva and all restaurants. Beautiful rooms and garden with a pool, real Mediterranean style in this luxurious renovated historical villa. Hamdy was really helpful from our arrival to our departure, gave us all tips and instructions. Thank you a lot and see you again

3 nights in Hvar

The property was fantastic! the communication was great, and we were able to check in early. The property location is perfect walking distance to town, shops and restaurants. The reason for four and not a five was for two reasons. We we're told there was a washer and dryer we could use, we later learned that that was not the case. We had to pay to have our clothes was washed which cost 140 euros. The other reason was the master suite was hot, I think the AC is undersized for that large room. We slept in one of the rooms downstairs. But, for the money we were spending it would have been nicer to sleep in a king bed versus a twin.
