Getaway by the Bay

Getaway by the Bay is located close to Goose Island State Park. This cozy house sleeps 10 people very comfortably with a full kitchen and amenities.
There are many outdoor activities in Lamar and Rockport to keep you busy without exposing yourself to Covid 19. Fishing, swimming, birdwatching and sightseeing are just a few suggestions and more. The house is only two blocks to the water front and boat ramp.

The space
This warm, comfortable home has a large living room with an open concept The kitchen is great for family get togethers. It is equipped with an electric stove, microwave and many essentials for creating a great meal. If you decide to cook outdoors, just let Norma know and she will provide a grill for the backyard.
Fenced in backyard allows for the safety of small children and pets.
Bunk room has a large TV with cable included through out the house.

Guest access
Guests have access to both bedrooms, both full baths, living/kitchen area and fenced in back yard.
The detached garage is owner’s private area. Owners may need access to the garage, but guest will be given sufficient notice.

Nothing to Complain About

Everythjng about the house, check in, the owner, and the location were great. The only thing I might prepare for differently would be the numerous mosquitos if you plan on spending a lot of time outdoors at the house, but that comes with the area and nothing to do with the house. My navigator kept saying the house was on the left when I pulled onto the street but it's on the right. Again, that has nothing to do with the house. We loved the amount of space that was available to stretch out. Everything was clean, and the owner communicated well in advance of our stay. I would stay here again.
