A friend and I visited for the weekend and this was the perfect spot for our stay. Clean, simple, exactly what you need from a rental property. Great location as well in a charming neighborhood.
German village is one of the most desirable and quaint neighborhoods in Ohio. Delightful. We spent very little time at the apartment. Solid value was the driving reason we stayed here.
This is a nice place to stay. The property is good. It does show some sighs of wear and tear. The neighborhood is a mix. Its historical and near a lot of things and food. There are brand new buildings in the neighborhood with abandoned buildings across the street. across the
The apartment is the perfect size for a little weekend getaway. Jessie was so amazing and had amazing communication! This is my second time staying at one of their properties and my expectations are always exceeded!!

German Village stay
Location and house was generally good. A few things could have been better including bed linens & parking. Otherwise overall stay was accommodating & German Village is a cool to stay in Columbus.
Really responsive host. House in great condition. Parking situation is SUPERB. Great neighborhood.
The host made the check-in process very easy. Lots of interactions. Parking space provided per unit rental which was amazing. Great location in good neighborhood made it easy to get downtown. really great experience!
This apartment was so cute and perfectly located. Short walk to restaurants and stores. German village is super quaint and we really loved it! The unit itself was cute, well appointed, and clean. The property owner was super nice and kind- best host we’ve had! She even went the extra mile to recommend restaurants and even let us know of an art festival happening nearby. She made sure we had a great stay!
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is clean, well-equipped, and in a great neighborhood. There is parking on-site and lots of street parking if there is more than one car. The hostess really went above and beyond providing information about restaurants and activities for us to enjoy. The place was very quiet, too.
My stay at German Village at Jessie’s apartments was excellent. The apartment was close to everything in German Village and is only a short drive from downtown Columbus, from Easton and to the Zoo. Additionally the area around was very nice, and I felt safe everywhere including at the apartments. There is all kinds of restaurants and small businesses to visit! The property itself was very very clean and had plenty of cooking essentials, a Roku TV with streaming and the bathroom and bedrooms were pristine. I would recommend this property and I would definitely come back here again!
Jessie is an excellent host and the apartment was true to the description. Important to us was a good kitchen area; it was nicely equipped and there was a good assortment of spices and other basics. I appreciated some of the extra touches: kitchen towels, dishwasher tabs, extra bath towels, a real hairdryer, etc. This was a great location to use as home base while exploring the German Village area for the first time. It was clean and comfortable. Jessie provided valuable information about restaurants and things to do in the area. Our first trip was wonderful - and it won't be our last. We would gladly stay here again on a future visit!

The neighborhood itself was great, but the house was a huge disappointment. The first thing that hit us when we walked in was the overwhelming smell of Fabuloso, which quickly turned sour once we realized why—it was covering up how filthy the place actually was. Our feet literally stuck to the floors, and after walking around, our white socks (and even bare feet) turned black. The walls had chipped and missing paint, the carpet was heavily stained, and the pillows were so disgusting—covered with red-brown stains—that we couldn’t even use them. The pullout bed and mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, making it nearly impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. To make matters worse, only one roll of toilet paper was provided, and we had to reach out to VBR just to get extra blankets for the rollaway bed. The photos online are very misleading; they don’t reflect the actual condition of this home at all. Honestly, the bathroom was probably the best part of the house—which says a lot.
Jessie's directions/instructions were clear and their local recommendations were much appreciated. Plus, we were running behind at check-out but they very accommodating. They quickly communicated with the housekeeper, which gave us a bit more flexibility.
Overall, the property met expectations; however, there were more signs of wear-and-tear than we thought from a property that's advertised as renovated. I want to stress that everything was clean, but there were major scuffs on multiple walls, chipped paint, dust accumulated on an air vent (which is on a wall in the living room, not hidden or in an inconvenient location to be cleaned), and the carpet on the first landing leading up to the bedrooms is matted and brown instead of low-pile and grey (this spot is immediately adjacent to the entryway so I am sympathetic but they should just rip it out and install hard floors). On another note, the mattresses were tolerable but the pillows were absolutely terrible (somehow both lumpy and extremely thin at the same time).
The property is reasonably priced so I don't want to have unreasonable expectations, but fixing these issues would go a long way in improving future guests' stays.
We came to Columbus to spend Thanksgiving with our daughter attending OSU. Location of the Property was great-German Village is outstanding. The unit is true to pictures, very quaint, updated, and appointed well. Bedding and towels were great quality and shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer were a nice perk as we forgot ours!! Will definitely consider staying here again.
My friends and I took a trip to Columbus or a girls weekend. The property was adorable and we had a great time. Jessi was super helpful and communicated frequently if we had any questions.
This Vrbo worked out great for us. It had everything we needed. It was really nice to have a parking spot reserved for us as street parking is difficult to find at times.
Good location and easy access to downtown Columbus. The owner was easy to communicate with and the check in process was very easy.
