The entire apartment still features all the elements that the old Marseillais used to incorporate, from Salerno terracotta tiles to the Cassis stone sink, typical of the Calanques (which you can visit by taking the boat just two minutes from the apartment; the same trip takes you to Frioul Island or the Château d’If). Not only can you cook and dine there in a cosy atmosphere with a breathtaking view of the rooftops of the Old Port, but just a stone’s throw away—without needing a car—you can enjoy the full richness of Marseille’s cultural life (a 5-minute walk away: the theatre, the Quai du Rire, jazz bars, the opera, and restaurants serving cuisines from around the world, including Marseille’s most traditional dishes such as bouillabaisse, etc.).
