We had an incredible time! Super relaxing, great location. Excellent open communication with property manager when needed. We will definitely be back!!!
The Host was great, very welcoming to say the least. The Peach Cabin is just that. A real sweet peach. All was very good except the on demand water heater which was tepid at best. Too cold for a bath or even washing ones hair. Staying three nights four days was too long to go without Hot water.

I am so glad you loved the Peach Cabin!! It was such a pleasure having you!
I apologize you had a struggle with the hot water as we've actually never had any guests have any issues with it in the past and haven't had any complaints of the water not being hot enough. But we will absolutely check it out and see if there is anything we can do to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Thank you again for staying with us!!!
Absolutely love this place! My only recommendation would be to put some lights just around the hot tub so that you didn’t have to have the porch light on which of course attracts more insects. Again, it was an amazing place.
We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday for the weekend and chose to stay at the cozy, historical Peach Cabin. The cabin was perfect! We loved the history of the home and it was so cute. The jacuzzi and kittie visits were the cherry on top! Melissa’s communication and customer service were above and beyond. We would definitely recommend staying at the cabin and hope to visit again soon.
This place is fantastic. It’s an 1800’s cabin but with modern day comforts. The cabin feels private and the only drawback to me is the proximity to the main road which does create a small bit of noise. No big deal. The bed was cozy and the hot tub enjoyable. I would happily stay here again.
This was our first trip to Fredericksburg and we picked the little peach cabin together. We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to unplug and be close. This cabin did that for us, its little and so cute. We could see all the pretty stars at night and all the deer. Would recommend this for any couple wanting to have some close quite time.
We had a wonderful stay at the Peach house, it was JUST what we needed. Quite, very comfortable, romantic, the get away we were looking for for our anniversary. Fredericksburg is always one of our favorite places to go and the Peach house just helped make it that much more special. The host was extremely friendly, and responsive and helpful when I sent messages/questions. It was very clean, everything looked just as the pictures portray. All in all it was exactly what we were looking for and 100% would and will book here again.
Communication with manager excellent very attenitive to any issues. Cabin was cozy and a good mix of old cabin feel with bits of modern convenience. Everything was great for us so thank you. If had any just small things would stay road noise during day was little loud but we did not spend much time during day there night was good and hardly could hear anything inside. Again still great place would stay again.

Too hot for us
Super neat little place to stay. Definitely not good for mid summers. A/c can’t keep the cabin cool. Few things that I should have looked into. Small frig and no shower. We would recommend going when the weather is nice. Also killed 3 Scorpions inside the first night and we ended up leaving and didn’t stay the 2nd night due to the heat.

Hi TJ,
Thank you so much for staying with us and I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay. I wish you would have reached out with any concerns as we've actually never had anyone ever mention the AC not staying cool so that is definitely something unusual we could have looked into. Yes, it is over 100 degrees and extremely humid with this Texas heat and most homes are struggling to keep up but I just wish you would have mentioned that so we could try and help.
Yes, the copper soaker bathtub is the highlight of the old cabin that many guests enjoy so I apologize you didn't see that in the listing. We also mention the Mini-fridge as well. Sorry those didn't suit your needs.
Regarding the scorpions, with Fredericksburg being in the Hill Country, time to time when it's very humid and/or we get a lot of rain, scorpions will seek shelter in the tiniest of places. We fumigate every 2 weeks but all across Fredericksburg and nearby areas are getting hit hard with them no matter what. I promise we do everything we can to keep them out but every once in a while they will appear. It's not often at all that guests see them so I apologize that happened during your stay.
I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I just wish I would have had the opportunity to make it right during your stay. We can't fix what we don't know about so I promise we will jump on these issues immediately.
Thank you again for staying with us!

My husband and I needed a short getaway from Dallas and this little cabin was perfect. We spent three days there and had all that we needed to just relax! The cabin has a loft where the bed is and the bed was supper comfy. The kitchen has a small "college room" type refrigerator which was perfect for some drinks and a few snacks. There is a small sink, coffee maker, plates, cups and utensils. The sitting room was comfortable but to be honest we sat on the back porch most of the time.
The bathroom has a beautiful old cooper tub which was supper relaxing. The towels were fresh and there were plenty. There is no shower, however there is a handle you can use to wash your hair. There is also a hot tub next to the back porch and it was clean and heated up fast. Having the hot tub was really nice after hiking at Enchanted Rock for 2 1/2 hours! We sat on the porch every night and watched the deer come in and feed at their deer feeder around 5pm. The highlight may have been the millions of stars we could see at night! We moved the hammock one night to a perfect place to gaze at the stars. Dallas has too many lights around for this type of night gazing so we soaked it all in while we were there! Perfect location to get to Enchanted Rock (or other State parks around there), go to town for shopping or the Pacific war museum. Very easy communication with the owners! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and we hope to be back soon!
