Hidden Gem Islamorada | 2nd Floor

Summary:
This newly renovated unit is truly is a Hidden Gem in the heart of Islamorada! This duplex is nestled in the trees just a few steps from one of the most amazing sunsets in the Upper Keys. Walking distance to all the wonderful shops, restaurants and breweries that Islamorada has to offer. Bikes and Kayaks can be rented steps away from the front door of this unit. Want to find a place that you'll want to return year after year? Look no further!

This unique property was originally built as motel in the 1950's. We have taken it upon ourselves to give it a facelift! Expects new bathrooms, flooring, beds, windows, and new split AC units in every room! Cool down when you get inside from that Florida heat! Brrrrr

The Space:
This unit is 620 sq. ft. located on the second floor. Its two bedroom/two bath with a small kitchen and living room.

The master bedroom has a King memory foam mattress with an en suite bathroom.
The guest bedroom has a King memory foam mattress and an unattached bathroom.
There are no dressers or closets in the units. We provide luggage racks, and places to hang clothing.

This unit is part or a very unique and private wooded property that spans over the bay of the Florida Keys. This unit does has a courtyard view NOT a bay/ocean view. All staying guests have complete access to all the property has to offer. It’s a two minute walk to the boat basin and the most incredible sunset view in Islamorada!

MARINA/BOAT BASIN INFORMATION:
- You are allowed one 24’ vessel MAX WITH ENGINE to keep in the boat basin. The basin is too small to accommodate larger boats.
- BOATS EXCEEDING LENGTH OF 24' WILL BE MOVED OR SUBJECT REMOVAL AT OWNERS EXPENSE. BOATS MAY BE MOVED TO ACCOMMODATE OTHER BOATS.
- Holiday House Mariana waiver must be signed before boat can be on premise.
- Boat ramp is for max 20' vessels.
- You will have also have access to parking trailer on property for no addition fee.
- NO JETSKIS

The Neighborhood:
Located at Mile Market 82.5 in the heart of Islamorada this unit is central to many shops, restaurants, and bars! Its right across the street from several shops, walking distance to several restaurants, and the famous Islamorada Beer Company!

We provide a detailed GUESTBOOK with many great recommendations for food, drinks, and activities!!

Cancellation Policy
● 100% refund if you cancel at least 60 days before check-in.
● 50% refund (minus service fee) if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
● No refund if you cancel less than 30 days before check-in.

We strongly recommend purchasing a separate travel protection policy to cover any refund requests outside the above cancellation rules.

The unit was nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. The showers were large and the water pressure was good. The host checked on us to make sure everything was OK. I recommend this rental and would stay there again.

We had an amazing time at the Hidden Gem. The location is absolutely perfect and the accommodations were outstanding. Everything we needed for our stay was supplied and it is close to all of our favorite spots. Sean was friendly and easy to communicate with and we had such a great time!! First time in the Keys

Since we were new to the area, we didn't know what to expect. Everything was wonderful. We especially liked the sitting area at the dock. Sean's communication about check-in, things to do, and restaurants was great. We will stay here again!

This place has is all!!! Location couldn’t have been any better. We were there to boat and fish during Labor Day weekend and this place was absolutely perfect!!! Sean was so great and incredible helpful. It was seamless and easy to locate the property, check- in and launch the boat. The marina is smaller than it looks in the photos but it was manageable with our Key West. Two couples stayed very comfortably and we had some good luck fishing right there at the back of the property. The courtyard directly behind Hidden Gem is very nice. I sat out there and drank my coffee a few mornings. It was beautiful with orchids and tropical vegetation…very relaxing. I highly recommend this place!!!

Quick Keys Fishing Trip

Beautiful rental! Clean and had all the essentials! Best sunset views from the dock! We will definitely be staying there again. It truly is a hidden gem.

This is in a great location. It’s barely off the highway but you would never know once you are there. We spent many nights at the shared boat harbor on the property watching the spectacular sunsets!

Perfect Spot

This is a little piece of heaven! Perfect location and we had an amazing stay. My husband and I booked this last minute and we were so exited to find it in such short notice. It was cozy and comfortable. We can’t wait to stay again and bring friends to stay in the unit below this one!

Keys trip

We traveled to Islamorada we family. Had both units. They are very comfortable and clean. Hidden Gem is within walking distance to several restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

Best stay ever.

From the ability to launch a boat on site to a mooring that sheltered the boat all the way to a great and modern condo to stay in. This place was a winner; and we will be back several times this summer. Fishing was fantastic as well. Manager was available for a quick call if anything was not spot on. Outdoor lights were not on the new time and was fixed same day as the call. Thanks again....see you soon.

Hidden Gem : top and bottom floor rental

We rented both units together this March and were very pleased! Sean was very communicative and handled everything very well. The unit is very clean , appointed with our needs and he worked to get us in a few hours early on our first day. The location was wonderful and having a washer/dryer was a huge help! I would recommend to friends/family in the future. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was wonderful as well. Not having a closet was a small disappointment but understandable do to the size of the room and the racks and hangers were sufficient. Only other suggestion was to add a bit more remodeling to the wash room........ We had a wonderful visit, parking was easy and "neighbors" were quiet but friendly! Thank you, Sean oops also, there was no Keurig as promised in either apt .

Sean was absolutely great!

We enjoyed the cute stylish condo and a short walk to the water. We brought our JetSki and was able to keep it in the water and use it as we pleased. Short walks to various great restaurants was so awesome! We forgot something at the condo and Sean was so nice to retrieve it for us and mail it back to us! Thank you Sean! We will return!

Lovely quiet condo

Very clean, sparkling. Two similar bedrooms with en suite bathrooms in each. Responsive hosts. Short walk to waterfront (although not a swimmable beach). Very close to great attractions although either a car or bike is needed to really explore the area. Great WiFi and Netflix as well as other stuff on tv. We watched bloodlines of course. Highly recommended by us!

The property was exactly as described. The location was perfect for an Islamorada vacation. The city has a free shuttle service, no driving necessary. Sean was available to answer questions and did an excellent job of managing the property. A return trip could happen!
