Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please take recyclables and household trash if you will fill more than one outside trash can and take it to the trash/recycle center on Edward Teach Way the day prior to or morning of check out.
Make certain sign to the left of the garage doors is set to "YES" so that trash will be collected.
Return house/ cart keys to small boat bowl in entryway. Lock door using key from lock box outside (code 0624) and return key to lock box.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Our family of 7 has been coming to Bald Head Island since 2005 and owned a home in the Maritime Forest at Cape Fear Station since 2008. The spectacular creek views lured us to Keepers Landing along with a love of fishing and paddle boarding, so we purchased this popular rental property in 2020 and are excited to share our little piece of heaven with you and your family. In all the years coming to this peaceful, friendly, beautiful island, every vacation together has been relaxing while active. We are a running family, so morning runs to beat the heat, exploring the island have been rewarded with cool drinks on our porches, lazy days on pristine East Beach, and biking to the store for last minute groceries to throw on the grill. Everyone can move at their own pace and be on Island time. It never gets old.

Keepers Landing is its own little neighborhood filled with families of all sizes and ages enjoying this scenic Cape Fear Station location. The gorgeous, newly renovated dock is private to this neighborhood and offers spectacular sunrises, ever changing views, and sunsets with Old Baldy off in the distance. Make new friends while fishing or checking the crab traps. Bring your family for sunset cocktail hour. It's Always Sunny boast one of the best locations within Keepers Landing as the dock is right out our back door! And even if the weather doesn't cooperate, you can enjoy the view from covered porches off of every bedroom, and, of course, from the comfort of this spacious home.

What makes this house and it's location unique is the easy access to everything you could want from a BHI home. You have the peace and quiet of the forest, with the views of the ever changing creek along with proximity to surfing heaven East Beach, the Shoals club, and the Conservancy area with Mike's Bites for a quick lunch and shopping nearby. Guest memberships to both BHI and Shoals Club are available for purchase.
The access to the dock is a treasured commodity as no more docks can be built out to the creek on BHI, and once you experience it's beauty full of jumping fish, majestic birds and tasty crabs, you will never forget its serenity.
