Cabin beautiful and quiet. Road into it very tight and scary when meeting another vehicle , but we still enjoyed our stay.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. It’s wonderful to hear you found the cabin beautiful and peaceful, and we truly appreciate your honesty about the road. We know those mountain roads can feel a bit tricky at times, and your feedback helps us better guide future guests. It means a lot that you still enjoyed your stay.
Loved the cabin layout and being able to enter without steps. We will book again. Beautifully decorated. Great having code to enter so no need to check in elsewhere. Convenient location. Would need 4 wheel drive in the winter. Had an issue (might have been a raccoon or squirrel chewed something) with the hot tub middle of the stay, but very helpful person when called, unfortunately repair person didn't make it out before we left.

It would have been great except for the fact the hot water was completely disgusting. It came out the faucet brown. We called property management and they said it was due to being on a well. Not true as the water on the cold side was perfectly clear. I ran the hot water for an hour straight out of every faucet. After and hour still no change in water color.
The other issues were the hot tub reaked of mildew, the place had not been cleaned well. Piles of dust all the best. Windows were very dirty with cob webs still in them from last season. I also found two porch railings broke that child could easily fit through and I seen were wood on the back porch was treated for termites.
I have been in four cabins and this one was just not kept up. Very disappointing that this is my second review and no one has contacted me.
I would not recommend this cabin.

Ben, thank you so much for your honest feedback. We understand how alarming it must have been to arrive at the cabin, only to discover areas of the cabin weren't cleaned thoroughly, there was an odor to the water, broken railings, and more. This is not acceptable or standard for us, as we provide regular maintenance for all our properties and this is concerning to us as well. We do appreciate you reaching out honestly, and are working diligently to make sure all issues at the cabin are addressed with care. We're glad we were able to come to an agreeable resolution and again apologize that your stay was disappointing. We would love to have the chance to provide you with a better stay in the future at one of our other 400+ properties.
