An authentic, fully restored 19th-century winemaker’s house nestled in the heart of the famous Côtes Mâconnaises wine region, not far from the Côtes Chalonnaises. Located in a typical hamlet adjacent to the centre of the picturesque wine-growing and commercial town of Lugny—the “little capital of the Haut-Mâconnais,” home to its own “Mâcon Lugny” AOC and the first winery to produce Burgundy wines—a must-see stop on the Mâconnais-Beaujolais Wine Route, nestled in the heart of a magnificent, unspoiled rural and vinicultural cirque, between vineyard-covered slopes and wooded hills.
