Nice Apartment but beware if you are English speaking.

When we got to apartment, the woman that checked us in and give us information only spoke French and we only speak English. The info on booking said they spoke English. This was a problem because we couldn't make the air conditioner work and couldn't get info about the town and how to get a taxi back to the airport. The apartment itself if nice and the view is perfect. I know I sound like an ugly American - because of course people in France speak French and if wish I one of the 4 of us could. I just think they should make it clear on the VRBO site. Also the day before we got there we got a text saying we needed to bring our own sheets and towels. That was a big surprise since we were flying in from US and then NICE. We told them it didn't say on VRBO and they said they had an emergency supply. So communication was bad but the rest was fine. Just be aware.

Indeed for sheets and towels it is complicated with the hygiene rules in force since the Covid crisis, it is for this reason that we recommend you to take your own effects, or to use the rental services at the dry cleaner. Great views and space

Linen/towel issue. Being aware that not providing linen and towels is a common practice in some European holiday lets I was careful to check there was no mention of this in the listing. However the day before we arrived we had a communication from the owner requesting that we bring our own (I’m fairly sure this was an automated email.) As soon as I responded that it was too late for this info and it wasn’t in the listing the owner responded advising that there would be linen and towels available from Françoise, who met us to show us the apartment and give us the keys. Although she spoke no English and our French is poor she was very sweet and kind. We used Google translate if we got stuck. The apartment is clean, modern, well equipped and spacious (BBQ in pics not available, apartment rules no BBQs on balconies.) The beds are large and comfortable. Bathrooms modern and clean. The balcony has stunning views. The area is quiet but there are the odd noisy motorbikes but otherwise peaceful. A short walk, downhill and stairway brings you to the small tourist shopping and restaurant area, the marina, the beach, the citadel and the station. The walk back was slightly harder work but it all added to the charm.We visited in September and the evenings were cooler so didn’t use the balcony much in the evening. This left limited comfy seating for 4 of us in the lounge area but was only an issue for us for one evening. On the whole a delightful apartment.

Il y a toujours une solution pour les draps et serviettes mais les règles ont changées notamment depuis la crise COVID, c'est pour cette raison que nous recommandons d'apporter vos propres effets si possible. Concernant le barbecue vous avez à disposition une plancha électrique pour les grillades, en effet les barbecue à gaz sont maintenant interdits dans le règlement de copropriété. Comme vous l'avez mentionné, nous sommes vraiment tout proche des commerces et restaurants, et tout est accessible à pied. Vous avez également la place de parking privé si vous avez un véhicule. Peut-être au plaisir de vous recevoir à nouveau :) !

Appartement conforme à l'annonce. 5 min centre ville,15 min plage. Juste penser a prendre serviettes et draps. Cela monte un peu pour accéder depuis le centre(mais pas longtemps), peu poser problème si personne avec difficultés a marcher. Sinon tout OK

Perfect for a Calvi holiday

Very nice appartment, Perfect location and with a beautyful View to the ses and mountains from the shady terrace. Short distance to Calvi port and city center - five min. walk. Perfect for our first stay in Corse.

Cet appartement est juste parfait pour séjourner à Calvi. Grand, lumineux, très bien situé et la vue de la terrasse est tout simplement magnifique. On s'y sent bien tout simplement!

Appartement idéalement situé

Appartement calme, propre et fonctionnel, très bien situé à deux pas des rues piétonnes et du port. La grande terrasse est très appréciable pour les repas, tout en profitant de la vue magnifique sur le port et la baie de Calvi. Très bonnes vacances, séjour parfait à refaire.

Très bel appartement avec terrasse et vue sur Calvi

Très bel appartement, bien équipé et situé dans une résidence calme et sécurisée. La vue sur la baie de Calvi est magnifique et on peut en profiter grâce à la grande terrasse qui est idéale pour dîner. Tout peut se faire à pied, l'accès à la ville et la plage se fait facilement, surtout en passant par le parking, sinon il faut grimper une série de marches !! Accueil très sympathique de Françoise. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement, merci!

Appartement très bien placé, vue magnifique sur la mer et la montagne. Très grand balcon, et l'appartement très bien consu et équipé. Tout ce fait à pied, le centre ville est à 5mn.Très bon accueil lors de notre arrivé. Si vous voulez passer de très bonnes vacances à Calvi n'hésitez pas choisissez cette location. Je le choisirais à nouveau si je reviens à Calvi

conforme aux photos ,décoration soignée disposition idéale pour 2 couples et une grande terrasse dont on profite beaucoup car abritée du soleil avec vue mer et montagne . A deux pas de l'animation et de la mer .....bref ! une semaine passée trop vite . A ajouter aussi la gentillesse des personnes sur place (à notre arrivée et à notre départ )
