I booked this for our employees, who had a project in the area. I asked them one of them how it was and this was the response..."Everything was perfect. It was a beautiful house with beautiful views. The owner was so kind. We didn't have power one night and she came to check on us and offered a generator. I would love to stay there again." Thanks Nicole for hosting them and being a great host.
We just had such a magical vacation on the Ammon Ranch. This ranch style home is fully remodeled but also has kept the original 1800’s wood and architectural details. This was a perfect place to enjoy quiet nature and the outdoors with my family. We have three children ages, 2, 11 and 15 and the property offered space for them to explore, play, scooter, cartwheel, draw, read, swim, hot tub, and stargaze safely. Perfect for families!
The home is fully stocked, very clean and easy to access. It is in a quiet location and also within minutes to Salyer.
The Trinity river is right below the beautiful deck and is gorgeous. Perfect birdwatching, reading, sunbathing location.
We are looking at dates now to return for another week! My family had a wonderful time after a year of being stuck at home and we all want to return!
Perfect weather, perfect location. We live in Eureka, so it was a great place for a mama's weekend away. We loved the deck and pool. The kitchen was lovely. It was so relaxing and just what we needed!
Had a wonderful stay at the Ammon ranch, and especially the outside area. It was beautiful. Enjoyed the pool, got tub, and just sitting on back deck all night enjoying the sound of the river and the beautiful weather.
Thanks, Nicole.
We had an amazing, restful getaway. The property, deck, and view are gorgeous and the pool and hot tub are extra bonuses. The outdoor grill and beautiful outdoor eating areas were amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking. There is a tiny local store just down the street (no one was masking there) and a larger one 2-3 miles away where everyone was masking appropriately for shopping needs. My only comment for families is that the house is heavily decorated with many glass knick-knacks and I spent quite a bit of time worried that my rambunctious 7 year old niece was going to break everything, so fair warning if you are traveling with small children.
