The host was quite accommodating and responsive. The location of the property was excellent, near walking for almost everything. The property itself was a little lacking on the clean side. The floors needed to have a good scrubbing. The kitchen was minimally stocked but ok for our needs.

Always enjoy our stay at Ocean Walk in Daytona. This was the nicest unit we have stayed in. Beautifully updated and maintained. We will definitely be back! Even the lock off unit was updated beautifully and our friends loved it!

Beautiful, spacious property with all the amenities you could ask for! Perfect location, close to the airport with an easy walk to anything you could need. Only negative I would say was no towels provided for pool or beach but was clearly stated so we knew that going in. Otherwise, it was amazing! We had a great time with our three kids and had a wonderful first time visiting Daytona! Thanks for a memorable vacation!!

Great place to go if you have kids. It was extremely busy but was expected during the summer months. Beach was fabulous. Be prepared to bring towels and beach equipment if you do not wish to rent. Great location.

Great Family Vacation

This was our 6th trip to Daytona staying at Wyndham OceanWalk but the first time renting from Renata. The condo was lovely. One of the washing machines broke down and after one email to Renata the repair main was there the next day and fixed it immediately. The resort itself is a great place because of all the amenities and the beachfront location. I definitely recommend the resort and Renata is a wonderful hostess!!

Ideal Daytona Beach stay

Fantastic setting for Memorial Day. This was my first VRBO and I was a little afraid. All of my expectations were exceeded. Great WiFi (teenager approved), tv services and overall nice setup. The condo was well apportioned, CLEAN and spacious. The amenities were well laid out and exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely come back. Thanks Renata for allowing us to stay.

Great Location

Great location within feet of the beach. Plenty of space for the 8 people we had with. Some items were limited upon arrival but those items were clearly listed in the description (personal/paper items). So many things to do and see close to this location. The resort did not have chairs/umbrellas on the beach but there was a rental service that set up beach chairs and umbrellas right on the beach every day we were there. Pool was excellent for all ages, especially our young kids.

Great family condo

This three bedroom condo was perfect for our family of 5. Everyone had there own bed. Location is perfect, right on the beach with excellent beach views! Condo came with everything we needed for an extended stay. The resort has a ton of amenities that the whole family enjoyed. Communication with the owners was excellent. We had one issue with the living room tv. It was a simple fix that we were able to figure out on our own but the owners had maintenance come up right away so they were very attentive. We gave 4 stars for cleanliness just because the kitchen counters had crumbs or something on them but nothing that appeared to be a lack of cleanliness. Overall we would highly recommend this property for a great Daytona Beach stay and we would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity!

Worked For Our Stay

First, the condo. We were not able to check-in earlier than 4pm on the dot. That was fine, however no orientation to the resort during check-in. The good: plenty of seating, lots of pillows, comfortable beds, lots of space, great view, close to the elevators and still quiet, plenty of bath towels. The condo was as pictured, however it was dirty. The showers were dirty with hair still stuck on the walls and floors. Mold on the shower nozzles and drains. A lot of dinged up walls and paint chips. The balcony light did not work. Sliding glass door: front, middle, both sides were filthy. To no fault of the owners, the resort does not handle their pool towel service any longer, so bring your own. There are also no other pool or beach toys, chairs, etc for use. The hot water went out the first night we were there. We contacted the owners and was told simply, "Let front desk know". There was no phone in the unit and they did not give us the number, but we walked down and they said it was out for the whole south tower. No follow up from the owners or anything. Lastly, the resort itself. We've been staying at OceanWalk for over 10 years. Lots of amenities - pools, putt putt, great location, and more. We haven't been back to this resort for a few years. We did notice it is becoming dated and some of the shops and stores around are gone. Overall, we knew what to expect and the resort was what we knew it would be. The resort does cater to north wing,not the owner/guests of south wing.

The first day we arrived we had to contact Renata due to the deadbolt being broken on the main door and I had 3 small children with me. One of those kids is special needs. Renata sent someone to fix it almost immediately and we were so thankful for that. The resort itself was great and the staff at the resort were wonderful. We were without air and hot water for over 36 hours. Renata’s solution was for us to leave and drive home late in the evening. She was very rude and refused to make things right. She said it was a resort issue and she wouldn’t do anything to make it right. The notebook of reviews in the room listed the furniture and dishwasher needed to be addressed. The dishwasher was still broken and very dirty. The couches were very uncomfortable and old. The owner claims she thrives on repeat customers and good reviews but if she treats other families the way she treated mine, I cannot imagine her having very many repeat guests. She showed absolutely no concern or regard for the fact that my 3 year old daughter is autistic and being overheated and not able to go to the pool (we had to be in the room in case a worker came to do work bc we were not comfortable having random people come in and out with our personal belongings in there). We spent our last night in a room that had temperatures that read 80° and no warm water. She has been very rude and nasty in her messages. I contacted her directly to try to make things right but she said I chose to stay so she’s not going to do anything to make it better. I would absolutely not rent from her again. If everything is good then it would be a nice place but if you need any kind of assistance from the owner you will not get it.

Amazing Experience! 10/10 Would Recommend

My friends and I stayed here in June for a week Long Beach trip. We had a great time and the convenience of the washer and dryers in the unit was a MUST! We were so happy to have 2 sets in the unit since there was 6 of us. The only downside was having less towels than we thought in the bathrooms, so we had to do a couple of loads of laundry, which was fine. The location of the condo was adjacent to the shops and the restaurants. Looking forward to hopefully booking again next year!

Location was Fatanstic This is a one bedroom Hotel room with a small kitchen and a joining hotel room for the 2nd and 3rd bedroom...maybe I'm wrong but I wouldn't list this as a 3 bedroom Condo...Balcony very small...very very outdated look closely at the pics..Loved the pool areas and Location that why we booked it Compared to the 2200sft 3 bedroom Condo we stayed in last year during Memorial Day week for 2k less we won't be staying here again... I emailed the owner before leaving if we would arrive early could we check in a little bit early..its a 15 hour drive for us..no response...we did arrive at 2:30 was told sorry check in is at 4 Emailed the owner again and no response..we grabbed lunch came back at 3:40 and was told sorry check in is at 4:00 so we just sat and waited..The owner responded at 5:15 with Sorry just saw this hope all went well...very poor communication after they had our money..

Location and view was great… Cleanliness was poor… Floor boards in both bathrooms were “rusty/dirty.. The slider hadn’t been cleaned in awhile…. Big smears on ALL the glass… Bedroom door didn’t shut.. Door to outside look like maybe someone tried to break in?! Screws were stripped…. No VACCUM.. push dust mop provided was JUNK.. Definitely needs UPDATES… especially the APPLIANCES

Great memorable stay

Look no further! This 3 bedroom oceanfront condo is exactly what a beach vacation we have imagined. The views were amazing and 2 large pools were great. Nice to have hot jacuzzis too on cold days. The location is unbeatable- its right beside oceanwalk shops and restaurants and it has nice clean boardwalk to go for a walk or jog. Condo has everything we need for cooking, laundry and tv in all bedrooms with plenty of towels, blankets, pillows. Bathrooms are a bit outdated but its ok! Everything was worth the price!

Great place for families

We stayed here for my sons 3rd birthday with my parents and my brother. There was enough room for us all and privacy for each member. It is right off the beach and boardwalk and not too far from Disney World in Orlando which we visited for 1 day. Property manager answered any questions we had quickly. Our only concern was the water for the shower is not that hot earlier in the morning and my dad who has a bad back tends to take showers at 4am. Would recommend and stay there again.
