This house is amazing! It's obviously well-loved and well-stocked. It's large, bright, and airy, and all the bedrooms are well-appointed. The kitchen has everything you need (dishes, utensils, etc) and there were plenty of bath and lake towels (much appreciated). We loved the large deck upstairs with its view of the lake and mountains, and the grill worked wonderfully. The walk down to the lake is a bit steep but worth it- we made great use of the kayaks that came with the house, and also enjoyed swimming off the dock. The location is wonderful in terms of a quick drive to Saranac Lake. We'd stay here again.
We truly had the best time at the chalet in Saranac lake. The house was clean, cozy, and really beautiful. It snowed over a foot on one of the days we were there and the views from the loft and deck were spectacular. I will remember this trip for a lifetime, both fireplaces were so cozy and two families fit great in the space.

Beautiful mountain and lake views. Great area for outdoor sports. The home is well stocked. The owners thoughtfully left a hot chocolate station, tea and coffee, a bottle of wine and wood for a fire. The house was decorated for the holidays and they even had a Christmas tree.
8 adults had a comfortable stay in this property. The views from the cabin are stunning and it is so serene, yet very close to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Hot tub and outdoor spaces weee great. You definitely need AWD or snow tires to access the cabin in the winter. Our friends and two dogs had a wonderful time at this property. It’s a little dated and towels etc are a bit worn out. However, the layout and location vastly outweigh these minor comments. Excellent quality for the price and would stay here again.
We loved our stay here. The views are gorgeous and the space was perfect for our group for our winter carnival trip. Ample space for games and movie watching! Anna was so helpful and friendly!
We really enjoyed this lake front property- it was perfect for our family. So close to downtown Lake Saranac and Lake Placid. Our kids loved exploring the grounds, using the boats and the firepit.
It's not often that you find a property with a view of the Adirondacks and close access to canoeing at the same time. And even though we felt we were miles away, the town Saranac Lake was only minutes away.
The view and property were beautiful! We wished the
washer and dryer were working and there was more than two small logs for the fireplace. The house was pretty clean. The downstairs bathtub needed more cleaning. We
also needed to buy a sponge because the one there was
very dirty. Other than that the house was awesome!
We rented so my son and youngest grandson could continue to hike the high peaks. We loved the house. It was perfect. We found the access from the house to the water a challenge. Being grandparents in their 70’s the steep hill was a challenge. But the view was exceptional.
One of our best experiences with a rental, ever. The house and property are even more beautiful than the photos suggest! The views are gorgeous, the house is clean and comfortable, and the space is more than enough for a larger family or several couples. You’re a five-minute drive to the village but it feels as if you’re miles from anywhere. A lovely place to relax. Anna and JP were wonderful hosts and were gracious and understanding about some minor damage our dog caused. We’re hoping to stay here again with our children in the summer, when we could make better use of the water activities than this snowy January weekend would allow.
My husband was doing the Lake Placid Ironman and wanted to stay at a house on the water so he could relax for a few days after. My family and I stayed at Ana and JP's house which gave us exactly that. We enjoyed the available water accessories that they provide. The guys went out searching for fish while the ladies lounged on floats. It was perfect. So peaceful with wonderful views.
The house has everything you need however the washer and dryer were unavailable but there is a laundromat close by. There was plenty of room for 8 adults as there are 2 family rooms.
The house is a short drive to town and Lake Placid but you feel like you are far from everything.
We truly enjoyed our stay.
Just a note. The walk down to the lake is a bit steep so make sure you bring everything you need.
While we did not need to contact the owners for additional supplies or any issues the communication with them was responded to very quickly.
We would definitely stay here again.
Thanks Ana and JP,
Patti and Kevin C
PS: Thanks for the tips about the Ironman JP!
The property is in a good location, private, but not far from Saranac Village, Lake Placid or White Face Mountain. The house itself is acceptable but nothing great. The stair case to the loft is much too steep, the towels were for the most part old and looked like they should be rags. The driveway was icy so we had to salt it and shovel to try and make it safer. We have stayed in numerous home rentals and many offer extras, and nice touches but not this place. We will not rent this again.
Beautiful comfortable stay for a hockey tournament
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very comfortable and well appointed. The hosts were very responsive. We had several hockey kids and parents and it accommodated all of us easily. Recommend!
Absolutely the most stunning property I've ever stayed at. The owners were so accommodating due to out special circumstance for travel. People like them hardly exist anymore. We truly felt like we were at home.
We had a wonderful extended family get away at the chalet. It was clean, well equipped and you cannot beat the view! JP and Anna were communicative and helpful hosts.
The loft bedroom is completely open—just something to be aware of. And 2 of the bedrooms are in the partial basement.
Great property! Great views! Clean. Easy communication with owners! Overall a super place!! Steep to get to water. Lake flower and oseetah lake are not for swimming or skiing activities, only disclosures that should be mentioned.
This place was awesome.
We were hoping for better weather to enjoy summer activities on the lake but we got one good day and took full advantage.
Great place and location. We were swimming, catching fish and canoeing right off the dock.
The owners were great.
Really good set up if you are staying with extended family. You can have your own space and also all hang out on the main floor. We had a blast.
I went there with a team of 8 people and 2 pets- it was my first vacation after pandemic and almost after a year- it was very memorable as the house was very airy and clean with great views and had a fenced deck for the pets to play!!

Thank you so much for deciding to stay at our home! We grew up in Upstate New York and moved to San Diego 4 years ago. We recently started our own family this year and purchased The Branch Farm Chalet so that we had a place close to our families! The Adirondacks hold a special place in our hearts and we hope you will love it and enjoy all that it offers as much as we do!
