Great Accommodation in Alpe DHuez!

Michel was an excellent host, super flexible with check-in time (our flight was delayed, we arrived there after midnight). We stayed at the ground floor of the Chalet, which has a bbq area and a table outside. We could see the chairlift from the window in the morning. It is basically ski-in/ski-out in normal circumstances. As snowboarders, we had to walk 50m, which is quite acceptable. The only thing is the toilet, we thought there were two toilets but there are in fact two showers and one toilet, It was 7 of us, we managed it with one toilet but I guess 7 or more than 7 ppl, it would start to become uncomfortable. Overall, we really liked the place and the host...two thubms up to Michel. :-)

Le logement était conforme à la description. Cependant, la cuisine est assez petite pour cuisiner pour un groupe de 10 personnes, tout comme la table du salon, peu adaptée lorsque le logement est occupé uniquement par des adultes. Une seule toilette pour 10 personnes est insuffisante. En revanche, l’emplacement est un vrai point fort, au pied des pistes. Enfin, la propreté pourrait être améliorée : nous avons trouvé de la vaisselle sale à notre arrivée.

Appartement indiqué 10 personnes c'est un nombre de couchages maximum. Evidement ce serait plus confortable de 1 à 6 vue la surface indiquée. D'autre part il est bien précisé qu'il y a un seul WC dans le descriptif que vous avez signé et sur Airbnb. Quand à la vaisselle sale, cela aurait été plus correct de me le signaler comme vous dites à votre arrivée ou j'étais présent pour vous réceptionner et vous présenter en détail l'appartement vous ayant également bien précisé que je restais à votre disposition pour quelque problème que ce soit. Vous auriez du m'en parler immédiatement. plutôt que de laissé planer le doute sur la propreté de l'appartement qui était dans un état parfait à votre arrivée.

Ski in Ski out rocks!

This Chalet is perfectly situated above the Berger's area lifts and ski school meeting point. This is the second time we've booked this apartment for our annual ski trip. The chalet is really warm thanks to under floor heating which comes on overnight so it's lovely and warm on your bare feet first thing in the morning. There is also a wood fire if needed in the evening. There were 8 of us in the ground floor apartment, and there was still loads of hot water for the last person in the queue! The kitchen has all mod cons including large fridge, oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine etc and we were able to create some fabulous meals and also enjoyed eating out a couple of times. There is a free bus service from the chalet area to the supermarket so easy to top up on supplies if you want to self cater some meals (take shopping bags) Half our party drove and the other half flew to Grenoble and used Ben's Bus to transfer to resort. The week we had was sunny and so we used the patio for our picnic at lunchtime as the ski in ski out was so easy. I rented sheets and towels from the owner as I didn't want to take my own. If we come to Alpe Dhuez again, I would definitely use this Chalet as it is so wonderful to put your skis on at the door and ski down to the first lift of the day and be at the top of the mountain ahead of all the ski school groups. Fantastic!

Chalet parfait au pied des pistes!

Nous avons passé une semaine géniale dans ce chalet à la situation exceptionnelle. Retour skis aux pieds directement sur la terrasse! Le propriétaire est très sympathique et arrangeant. Nous recommandons+++!

Chalet exceptionnel pour son emplacement et ces prestations de qualité. Départ et retour ski au pied par piste verte. Exposition plein sud. Très spacieux. Propriétaire toujours disponible et sympathique. Navette à proximité pour éviter de prendre la voiture ou descente aux bergers par la piste (en luge, trop fun!). Logement très propre des notre arrivée. Barbecue à l'extérieur et grande terrasse avec transat et table. Très bien chauffé avec possibilité de faire un feu dans la cheminée. Je le conseille vivement. un seul mot : parfait ! Il ne peut y avoir meilleur emplacement pour un chalet, vous pouvez arriver et repartir les skis aux pieds ! L'appartement, en rez-de-chaussée, est très bien équipé, vous ne manquerez de rien. Que ce soit la cuisine ou la literie, tout est très bien. Il est assez spacieux pour héberger 10 personnes, très bien isolé, tout y est très agréable. La cheminée tourne à plein régime, c'est toujours très sympa d'avoir un bon feu en rentrant le soir ! La terrasse est équipée d'un barbecue en pierre, idéal s'il fait chaud et plein soleil à midi (comme c'était le cas cet hiver à notre période de location) pour y faire griller quelques saucisses, d'une table et de chaises, bref tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon moment. Point aussi positif, un espace pour ranger le matériel de ski dès l'entrée du chalet ce qui évite de mettre de l'eau partout à l'intérieur ou de laisser le matériel à l'extérieur, et la possibilité de garer quelques voitures directement au chalet. Bref, que du très positif. Nous vous disons sûrement à l'hiver prochain !

Superbe chalet!

Très bel appartement dans un magnifique chalet, juste au pied des pistes! Un régal pour les skieurs;) L'appartement est très propre et bien entretenu. Tout à fait conforme à la description et très bien équipé. Le propriétaire est très accueillant et à l'écoute de vos besoins. Bref, superbe séjour avec en prime un magnifique soleil!;)

Great Chalet with amazing views over the slopes

We were a group of 7 adults staying in the Chalet for 7 days. The location for skiing cannot be bettered, with a green slope a matter of 2/3 metres from the entrance! The views over look a selection of green slopes and in clear weather you can see the majority of Alpe d'Huez. The chalet itself was great with 3 bedrooms all of a good size for 2 adults, with an additional person on the sofa bed. The kitchen has a good selection of equipment which perfectly suited our needs (we cooked 6 nights we were there). Michel was brilliant and made us feel very welcome. He even helped drive us down to our bus transport very early in the morning on our departure day. If I were to return to Alpe d'huez I would definitely be contacting Michel to stay here again.

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le logement était très propre, en accord avec la description, très bien équipé (même avec des appareils à fondues et à raclettes !). La terrasse est Sud-Ouest, donc on profite complètement de l''ensoleillement. Il n''y a pas de vis-à-vis et la vue donne tout de suite sur le village. De plus, nous y sommes ski au pieds, ce qui n''est pas négligeable. Le propriétaire vivant à l''étage nous demandait régulièrement si tout se passait bien. Il est toujours là en cas de besoin et il n''hésite pas à nous conseiller des itinéraires pour le ski. Parfait !"

"Le logement est parfaitement équipé : tout y est ! en cuisine , dans les chambres, l''équipement TV chaines, wifi , tout y est ! mais ce qui est magique dans ce chalet : c''est la VUE et le CADRE, une VUE EXCEPTIONNELLE et MAGIQUE de la Montagne: le spieds dans la neige c''est super surtout quand on est là en vacances avec 4 petits enfants de 2 à 7 ans!. A quand les prochaines vacances ? c''est sur je reviendrai !"
