The rental is a French town house that has been thoroughly modernised but has kept the character that was Maryse's parents and grand-parents home. The house was very well equipped and we found plenty of everything we needed in the kitchen. The rooms were spacious and although there were just the two of us, there would have still been plenty space indoor and outdoor for a bigger group.There is an enormous cellar where they used to make wine. There were also bikes to ride (it was too hot when we were there). Outside there are two garden areas and a big terrace offering lots of seating opportunities. We visited in June at the height of the heatwave but shade came to the terrace after lunch.Almost opposite the house on some evenings a young family ran a home made pizza takeaway business from their converted garage. We really enjoyed their pizzas one evening and talking to their children. We would also recommend the crepe business in the village.All in all a lovely place to stay and holiday.
