It’s a lovely “old Saint Bart’s” apartment with a nice kitchen, comfy bed, and beautiful water view from the outside dining table. The on-island property manager was very responsive to my needs. I appreciated that it was very easy to park.

A wonderful stay at the villa. It’s situated in a fantastic spot just above the shops, restaurants, and beach of St Jean. Central to everything on the island. The space is small but lovely and is nicer than the photos portray. Communication with the hosts was easy and very helpful. Two things to note: - it is up a very steep hill, so you should plan to drive most places if you aren’t very mobile to walk up the hill to get to/from St Jean- there are a number of stray cats on the property (as there are in many areas of the island), but if you have an allergy or aversion to cats, just be aware
The cottage is nicely equipped and comfortable. The deck, pool and views are outstanding. I loved the convenience to St Jean Bay and Gustavia. The owners communicated well and had friendly staff available to assist.
We absolutely loved this property and its location! The hosts were super friendly and responsive. The property definitely exceeded our expectations and was much larger than expected or shown in photos. We will definitely come back!
Amazing Bungalow Just Up The Hill From Nikki Beach
Just a lovely bungalow perfect for a couple or small family with its own private balcony and plunge pool with magnificent views of St Jean beach and bay. Look forward to returning to returning to St Barth and will definitely stay here again. Two tips is to rent a vehicle or scooter to get to the property as it is quite a ways up a steep hill that would take 20 minutes at a steep incline. Also bring bug spray as the mosquitoes came out at night
Place was wonderful, great view and outdoor space with dinner table and lighting. Manager checked in a few times to see if we needed anything. I would stay there again. Second small bed in bedroom and make it ideal for children as well.
We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful cottage in St Barths. It was clean and had beautiful views over St Jean. The property was even nicer than in the pictures. We stayed with 3 people and it was the perfect amount of space. Communication was fast and easy with Aubin. Would love to stay again in the future :)
I enjoyed my stay. The view is wonderful. The property is as shown. Clean, comfortable, with everything you will need. The property manager is amazing. I will be back again.

We will be delighted to welcome you again .Marion and Rogers ..
The small villa is absolutely lovely, perfect for a couple and really quite fine for me and my adult daughter for a mother/ daughter getaway as the bedroom has one large bed and an additional built in bed. The house is well equipped with kitchen gear—actually the entire place has everything you need such as bathroom towels and toiletries. There are even beach towels. There is a nice outside area for morning coffee and a small plunge pool on the terrace. The view overlooking Saint Jean Beach is not readily available when seated but is quite prominent when standing up. Parking is nearby and easy with a short walk down a driveway to the villa. The location of the villa is fairly central in that it is not a far drive to Gustavia, to St Jean Beach, to Saline or even to the other side of the island to Grand Cal de Sac etc. The hosts and their manager are lovely and very responsive. I would come back in a heartbeat.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with your daughter in outre mer .. thanks for your words
and description .. hope you will enjoy the island soon , we will be happy to welcome you 🌴
I cant say enough good things about our hosts.
Unfortunately, the renter of this villa before us became ill and unable to travel.
Rather than have them leave or tell us we needed to find something else they put us in a larger villa.
I would write a review of that villa on the site but am unable to.
The villas are in the same area of st jean. The view from that area is incredible nestled in the hills.
The walk to anse de St Jean is not far with a bit of an uphill climb. At age 66 I didn’t find it a problem.
We had incredible privacy and a lovely pool. I couldn’t believe the temperature was always perfect. Refreshing but not too cold and never warm.
The villa itself was perfect. New modern design, but very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was fully and well appointed with stove, oven microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker etc. we wanted for nothing.
The housekeepers were lovely and did an excellent job.
Throughout my hosts checked on us and were always quickly responsive.
I have been coming to st Barts for 36 years and it is by far my favorite rental.
Great little spot above Villa Creole. Nice View overlooking Saint Jean Bay. Quaint, aesthetically pleasing and has everything needed—no extras. As guests we were not allowed access to the washer/dryer but the maid said she would do our laundry. I felt this was too much of a hassle for her. While this is to be a private villa it is one of 3 on the property. Depending on the individuals in the other two a stay could be easily disrupted. We had neighbors that would walk through our space and greet us regularly. They were also noisy at 2 in the morning rapping on the door after having been out presumably galavanting. The property manager told us the other guests were not to be walking into our area or using pool, etc. (as I said, the the property manager was helpful, it was the other guests which were a bit self centered and insensitive) Driving in SBH can be tricky as can parking.. Surprisingly the access road I had feared would be problematic—it is a very busy intersection and at an awkward angle—not once was it a problem! A pleasurable stay it was for us. We hope to stay again.

Good morning Christy ,
Thanks for your marks 5/5 , and sorry for the trouble ..
We have rented outre mer for months and have just seen your commentary when the cottage has been on line again .
Others commentaries , very good , have been erased after 4 years . (the politic of the French site ). I
I ve explained to them it was a trouble bc this commentary doesn’t reflected the usual situation but they said if I explained it , it would be fine as the mark is the best one and
previous commentaries are still accessible in us site ,it allows to see there has never been such trouble ..
So we are pleased you have enjoyed your stay in outre mer despite the situation ..
We are very surprised ,. it has never happened
Of course no one is supposed to disturb you ,
to use your pool or walk trough your private area . If we have known that , we would have acted’ instantly !
We have 3 cottages , 50 m 2 each in a land of 1200 m2 . Each clearly separated from others , With a beautiful sea view and a a deck wifh privacy ..
The manager is here to help you solving eventual trouble in the house but usually our guests are respectful even they enjoy their holidays .
Although St Barts has changed with a lot of activities , the property is still charming and secure and we will be pleased to offer you nights for your next stay in this cottage , in another one or in villas ..
our son Aurelien will be there too to take care of your tranquility.. 🌴
