This 3 bedroom 3 bathroom (two showers with bench and one oversized bath)
The property sits on Chicago Creek with wraparound deck and is a ten minute walk to town (two minute drive)...... location location location
It has fantastic accoutrements from kitchen to bath to master bedrooms, just bring slippers!
Hot tub - steamer shower - two outdoor fire pits - fish off the large creek side deck (poles and bait included)
My home has three cameras to ensure all guests entering the home are verified guests and all cameras are outside the property aimed at the entrance only. No cameras are inside my home and no cameras are directed towards the hot tub. Parking areas only have cameras!

Great creek-side home, conveniently located to Idaho Springs (10 minute walk), casinos and Red Rock Amphitheater. Home is better than as described in the listing. Kenny was a wonderful host who was accommodating, responsive and helpful about local restaurants, mines, etc.

Cozy mountain home by a bubbling stream. The home was well kept, and the layout provided 'together time' as well as time apart to rest and regroup. Beds, very comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Very close to town of Idaho Springs and many hiking trails. What a treat this was from NC all the way to CO! Will definitely stay here again should we travel to Colorado. Thanks, Ken!

Tranquil Weekend

Awesome location on the water and a quick walk to town. Plenty of local hiking trails and outdoor activities. Easy access from the Denver airport. Would definitely recommend!

Sound experience

We all needed a break from the hectic pace of life and found it here. Beautiful setting that is close to town without sacrificing being close to nature. The owner was proactive and kind. Thanks again for a great get-away

Heavenly place

This place was amazing! The water, the house, and the location… all of it was fantastic. Communication with the owner was always prompt and he gave great tips and ideas! Make sure to take the cemetery hike to town…. Stunning. All 6 of us loved it and enjoyed everything. That back deck is so wonderful

Perfect retreat

Absolutely beautiful property! The house is cozy and comfortable, and located right on the creek. Sleeping with the window open to hear the water was so relaxing. I loved coffee on the deck in the morning and the hot tub to unwind in the evening. The house is so close to town but you feel secluded. Kenny was an amazing host. I can’t wait to go back again

Fantastic

We had an amazing time at Ken’s place. He had absolutely everything we needed and more. It felt remote but was very close to the adorable town of Idaho Springs and also only a short drive to catch a show at Red Rocks. We would definitely stay here again and maybe even bring the kids next time!

Amazing Property

Kenny was a great host and worked with us for an early check since we had an infant after a long day of flying. The house was clean and spacious and each room was very comfortable. The steam shower was fantastic. Dinner over the river was the best part of this trip and always having the Chicago River in the background! Would definitely stay here again!

Clear Creek retreat

The property on Clear Creek was everything we expected and more. The property is well maintained and clean with all of the necessary amenities. Our group enjoyed relaxing on the porch next the creek and watching the hummingbirds, which were plentiful. We were located only a short walk from downtown and utilized the walking trail nearby to get there. Ken was a fantastic host and we can't wait to go back and stay again.

Amazing place to connect with nature

I needed a weekend away to clear my head. I definitely got it here. The house is beautiful and in a perfect location. The creek was perfect. Homeowner was very professional and kind. Highly recommended!!

Family Reunion

This place was amazing. Having coffee on the wrap around deck started our days off well. There was plenty of room for our family which includes an infant. The upstairs master had more than enough room for the Pak'n'Play. We walked to town, spent an evening in the hot tub and played games at the large dining room table. This is a great property!

Idyllic location on the river

We were a group of 7 and enjoyed having space to sit together or spread out on the deck, in the garden, hot tub or lounge. The location works really well for walking into town or hiking up the hill and then heading into town. The home is comfortable but could do with a few updates and organization, especially in the kitchen. But overall, it is a great spot to stay.

Serenity tranquil magical relaxing

The second you put the key in door all you hear is the rushing creek and the many blue jays and hummingbirds this is a wonderful clean home to enjoy the creek is a small fun place to fish there are many trout that I caught the owner Kenny was so easy to deal with by the tome we left he felt like an old friend. Enjoy we did

Creek Side Mountain escape close to Denver

What a great property to escape the burdens of this crazy year! Very spacious, with seating everywhere! Even heated floors in the bathrooms! We felt like it was home! Even though we loved the sounds from the frozen creek, we cannot wait to come back when it's warm! Great host and great communication!

Incredible time here in Idaho Springs. We enjoyed exploring the downtown area that has the best shopping and great food! About the rental, all six of us couldn't stop gushing about the place. So well decorated, tons of space, and extra cozy! We loved the hot tub and chilling on the deck by the fireplace. The host, Kenny, is super kind and responds quickly. Super cool dude (: Would absolutely go back if I'm ever planning on partying at Red Rocks again <3

This time we relaxed and enjoyed the property more versus last time driving all over the place sight seeing. This place is absolutely incredible and what makes it that way is Ken the owner. Doesn't intrude on your privacy at all but is just a text message away if you need anything. The last night we took his recommendation as we wanted a nice casino/dinner experience and the seafood tower was second to none! The more I stay here, the more I appreciate all of the little things Ken has gone out of his way to provide. Several times we were like hon, look at this, and it would be something we hadn't seen since we were kids and there's a cool factor here unlike any other VRBO we've stayed at. I can't believe I didn't notice the steam shower the last time we stayed here. Wow, that's really something!!! The sound of the river flowing, the birds, the trout, it all comes together quite nicely here at the perfect location for Idaho Springs! Highly, highly, highly recommend!!!

23rd Wedding Anniversary Vacay

My wife and I celebrated are 23rd anniversary and met two more couples at Ken's place. The house was amazing and location is one of a kind!! Ken had all the necessary amenities needed to enjoy our 4 days stay. The wrap around deck that went over the river in the back was beautiful and I was able to catch a couple of small trout of the deck! We spent several nights out on the deck with a fire going, the grill smoking, good music playing, enjoying time with friends was perfect! The rooms & bathrooms were nice, kitchen stocked with the essentials like pots, pans & utensils and the house stayed nice and cool the whole time. The jacuzzi outside.... definitely something that needs to be done in the snow but we enjoyed it at night there under the stars! We wanted to go to a couple of places and Blackhawk and Golden were less than 30 min away but even better was Idaho Springs historic downtown only 2 minute drive! I could go on & on but you have to experience the home to realize how nice it really is! Overall this place was incredible! Definitely booking again!!
