Very clean and cozy with a nice view at sunset. Would have enjoyed a little better beach access for swimming but overall a very nice place and the manager Frank was very easy to work with and accommodating. Would stay there again for sure!!
We enjoyed our stay overall and would book this property again. I will say it could use a little touch up on some things that are showing wear/tear and age, but nothing was enough to impact our stay. The location is perfect and the sunsets from the back porch are magnificent!
We had a great stay at Villa 5027 on Duck Key. Frank was a great host and everything went really smooth. The villa was as advertised and the accommodations were great. If you’re coming to the area we highly recommend staying at this villa.
This property was very clean and nicely decorated. Check-in was very easy. We loved watching the sunset from the back porch. And the upstairs balconies were great. Very peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed staying and would love to stay again.
The townhouse was the perfect size for 4 adults (2 couples). Each had their own bathroom. It is conveniently located between Marathon and Islamorada. Quiet area, great views of the sunset.
We had a great stay- location in Duck Key, and proximity to marina and Angler and Ale were fabulous. Best of all was the back deck area, and the peaceful view of the water. My boys loved being able to look for dolphins and birds while we ate breakfast outside in the mornings. The property was as advertised, clean, and bright. I appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. We would definitely stay again!

The property was clean and the neighborhood is safe. The thermostat is locked out where it will not go lower than 68 degrees. My wife and I are hot natured, and we set our thermostat at 63 degrees at night, this thermostat lock temperature was not listed on the property description. I did not find this unit we checked in. I messaged the property manager and asked if this can be lowered especially at night, I explained that my wife and I are waking up hot. I was told NO. I could not imagine how uncomfortable this property would be during the hotter months as we went on the first week of March. If you like the thermostat below 68 degrees during the day or night, you may want to find somewhere else. If you don't mind the thermostat at that temperature, then this property will be a good choice. Both bedrooms are on the second floor. Both bathrooms are very small.
We went with our son and daughter in law and it was just the right amount of room we needed, the view was beautiful, the area was very well kept and nicely maintained. Even though we didn’t cook in the room and you plan on it the variety of cookware is limited, but I would definitely stay here again and the host was very helpful and responded quickly with my questions
We were four adults sharing the condo for three nights. The sunsets were amazing from the back decks and we enjoyed the family atmosphere. As a VRBO you do not get access to the Hawk Cay resort amenities, but we were a short drive from Marathon and Islamorada for beach time and other water adventures. All in all, we had a relaxing stay.
Property manager was very responsive and welcoming. Thank you, Frank!
The place is super easy to get to. You have to go to Marathon for places to eat, groceries, etc. but it was only 10 minutes away.
It has high ceilings on the first floor, so the steps are a little steep to the bedrooms. And the bedrooms are a little tight but we were comfortable. The deck is really nice to sit and enjoy the sunset.

Beautiful sunsets but villa needs some upgrades and the furniture is very damaged and worn. There are cameras at the front porch and the back porch. Had issue with boat slip and it became unavailable after we rented the boat but we were able to find alternate location. Frank is extremely responsive and kind
It was very easy to check-in. The villa was very nice and has a spacious kitchen living area. The views from balconies are lovely. We contacted the host about a wine bottle opener because there wasn’t one in the house. He responded quickly and had one delivered to us the next morning. The only recommendation I would have is to have some essential oil wall plugs around the house because I felt the carpet gave off a musty smell. Also one of the showers was missing the inside shower curtain, which we didn’t realize until the water started running out of the tub. That’s easy fix! Overall, I would recommend the Villa. We walked across Anglers restaurant on a Saturday evening and were seated right away. The Hawks Cay properly restaurant & bars are also accessible.
Very comfortable condo in Hawk’s Cay, easy to find, easy to access. Bedrooms and bathrooms are tight, stairs are steep, but overall comfortable. Great view of the ocean out the back door. We enjoyed exploring Duck Key and close to Marathon for restaurants.
We had a wonderful time in Duck Key. The property was beautiful. Frank responded very quickly to my questions. I would definitely rent this villa again if we come back to the Keys!
The property was really nice with a great view of the water. We were fortunate and the properties around us were not occupied otherwise there would be zero privacy on the porch.
