Less than two hours from Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand, nestled in a peaceful, wooded setting, lies Saint Victor-sur-Arlanc. In this small village, an old building has recently been renovated into a cozy and comfortable gîte called "Faune, Flore, Forêt" (Wildlife, Flora, Forest). Upon entering, the name becomes perfectly apt: large windows offer breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, and it's highly likely that during your stay you'll spot deer, foxes, or other forest inhabitants! The interior décor is remarkable: chandeliers, faucets, staircase, door panels—everything is unique and custom-made.
The layout is very well thought out: three independent sleeping "modules," each with its own bathroom, and a common room large enough for everyone to gather together! Let yourself be charmed; this gîte is the ideal place for a stay with friends or family, combining conviviality, comfort, and privacy! On-site activities: Relaxation, nature observation, hiking or cycling, equestrian center, radio and video game museum...
Nearby attractions include: the remarkable St. Robert Abbey in La Chaise-Dieu, the villages of St. Jean d'Aubrigoux, Bonneval, and Jullianges (with its racecourse)... A little further afield: the city of Le Puy-en-Velay and its many UNESCO World Heritage sites, the charming villages nestled in the Allier and Ance valleys... Rates include: utilities, bed linens and towels, and cleaning.
Shops and services are available in Craponne-sur-Arzon (9 km). The entrance to the gîte opens directly into a large living area comprising a kitchen, a living room, and a lounge, all opening onto a large terrace. A toilet completes this level.
The sleeping area, divided into three sections, is located on the first floor. Each module is equipped with a fold-down table, a tea bar, and a television.
The first module, "Forest," can accommodate 2 people and features a double bed (140 cm), a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a toilet.
The "Flora" and "Fauna" modules can each accommodate 4 people and are equipped with standard beds, a shower, a bathtub, and a toilet.
A co-working space is located right next to the cottage.
The all-inclusive rate includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and trash), heating, and electricity with reasonable consumption. If the cottage is heated by electricity, you have 15 kWh per day included (consumption exceeding this allowance will be charged extra).
