Bastide Provençale facing the Grand Luberon

Welcome to the heart of Provence, in our cottage located in the Luberon, more precisely in Buoux, on the Claparèdes plateau, halfway between Saignon and Bonnieux.
An old Provençal bastide, our cottage overlooks the Château de l'environnement, emblem of the Luberon Regional Natural Park.
At an altitude of 500 m, the cottage benefits from maximum sunshine all day long without the heat being inconvenient because of the neighbouring trees and an ever-present trickle of air.
Our cottage has a very large swimming pool that will allow you to relax and cool off throughout your stay.
Typical Provençal bastide, with stone walls, colourful shutters and warm decoration. We have set up our cottage to make you feel at home. It has two spacious and comfortable bedrooms, perfect for hosting a family or a group of friends. The kitchen is fully equipped so that you can prepare good dishes with the fresh and local products that you can find in the Provençal markets.
We are at your disposal to give you advice and recommendations to discover the treasures of the region. You will be able to visit the hilltop villages, the lavender fields, the vineyards or the historical sites that make up the richness of Provence.

Wonderful stay in beautiful gite

We enjoyed our stay very much. The little gite was exactly what we had been looking for. We were welcomed very friendly by our host and he made us feel at home from the first minute. We can only recommend this cozy gite and would love to come again.

Summer 2023

We arrived at the location and found it in good condition with friendly hosts who were helpful and generous with there time as well allowing us to enjoy are holiday. The pool was fantastic and private and the placement of the property gives you fantastic access to the towns of Apt, Lourmarin and Bonnieux. We enjoyed some great food in the restaurants in all of these as well as travellling to Aix Provence for a little shopping. The facilities on site allowed us to have BBQs and cooking dinners too. Highly recommend…..

Super location, great pool

Fairly basic property, not super tidy. Kitchen and bathroom can be improved, and an outside terrace is lacking. We did have a great week though, primarily due to the large pool, the view of the Luberon and the nice weather, with somewhat lower temperatures than down in the valley combined with a pleasant wind. Check-in was a hassle as the location is incorrectly stated in the vrbo app. We had to call the owner to get the right directions.

Location très bien située pour visiter le Lubéron, les environs et la vue sont superbes, au calme. La piscine extérieure est très agréable et bien équipée (transat, parasol et coin arboré), nous en avons bien profité. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et présents si il y a le moindre soucis. Un bémol toutefois sur la location en elle même, certes nous nous attendions a une maison assez rustique ce qui a son charme , cependant certaines choses mériteraient d'être entretenues (exemple portes qui ne ferment pas, hotte de cuisine couverte de gras). Il faudrait également un peu plus d'équipements au niveau de la cuisine, il n'y avait par exemple pas de couteau éplucheur, et le four impossible à faire fonctionner. Également rien à disposition pour faire le ménage, même pas un balai. Alors je pense que si nous avions demandé on nous aurait volontiers aidé ou fournit le nécessaire. Mais lorsque l'on paye 1300e sur 5 jours nous nous attendons aussi a avoir le nécessaire sur place sans forcément avoir à demander et un service minimum. Ces petits inconvénients ne nous ont pas empêché de passer un très bon séjour.

Juste....parfait !!!!!

Super accueil du proprio, qui a été aux petits soins tout le séjour. Emplacement au calme et en altitude, avec vue à 360°, à 10 min des villages, randos, escalade..... Vieille maison rénovée, gardant son caractère tout en étant confortable et fraiche, cuisine équipée, immense douche....bref, très belle expérience, on reviendra! Merci Remy!!!!
