The accommodation

"I like this mix of charm and simplicity of "L'Écrin". Adjoining cottage on the ground floor of "La Maison de Coeur", it is a perfect place to stay quiet or visit the region.
The house is in the heart of a charming little village surrounded by fields and forests. Pretty river, playground and picnic, sixteenth century bridge, church and crypt of the eleventh century.
And 200m away: the CANAL DE BOURGOGNE. Ideal for cycling...

WHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE HERE?
Imagine a house nestled between two gardens in the heart of a small authentic village... Imagine yourself... taking a walk along the canal from lock to lock, or in the forest, or between fields and river without ever taking the car... Stopping by the supermarket or bakery in the neighbouring village with your bike - taken or rented - by the Burgundy canal while listening to the birds... Having a coffee or a glass of Burgundy wine with the people of the village at the bar restaurant opposite, having lunch there or having a takeaway meal to enjoy in the garden... Improvising an aperitif by the river, near the swings... Renting a canoe for a delicious afternoon in complete serenity or going to garage sales... Sightseeing to visit magnificent Renaissance castles, medieval cities, or world-famous abbeys through such harmonious landscapes...

DESCRIPTION:
Our semi-detached cottage is on the ground floor of the "Maison de coeur".

It includes:
- a bedroom with a 140cm bed with en-suite shower room/WC, and washing machine
+ possibility of adding a 90cm bed, slatted base, or a baby bed.
- a kitchen (induction, freezer, classic oven, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, NO microwave)
- Free access to the barn with garden furniture/barbecue, and to the two gardens of 200m2 (courtyard side) and 300m2 (the small orchard).
- Heating by heat pump and storage radiators.

On the "technology" side, it is a cottage with WIFI and TV screen to connect to a computer (HDMI cable provided - PC or Mac adapter to bring).

We offer this gîte when we may be away, and sometimes also when we are present. In this case, we are then on the main floor of the house, and are careful to be discreet, while enjoying exchanging with you.

In our village, the church bells can wake you up in the morning! The Angelus is at 7 a.m. in the morning... It can also be very appreciated... or, not even noticed because of the 60cm thick walls!! The gîte is the quietest place in the house. Everyone sleeps more soundly there than anywhere else...

We do not accept pets, even small ones.
