The house sits on a 1 acre lot just right outside the City limits. You have access to the whole house with exception of the downstairs supply / office area.
2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath single level home, though there are stairs to enter the house.

Great place to stay

This house was a great place for my friend and I to stay for our weekend. Neat, clean, comfortable, well stocked with dishes, cups, glasses and cookware. The sunrise view was amazing! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area again.

Great quiet location with Beautiful morning view

Very nice little older house outside town just enough to have a quiet and peaceful stay. Porch was wonderful for morning coffee. Beautiful view and wildlife. Has all the amenities to cook and clean. Definitely better than the super 8. Thank you !

Nice front porch, close to SMORR

The house is a little rustic, but everything was clean/in good working order and it has plenty of space. It is only 18 minutes from great off-roading at SMORR and there was plenty of space for parking. There are a handful of gas stations and good restaurants just a few minutes away, but the house itself is a little out of the way so it is nice place to relax. I enjoyed the front porch with a view of the valley across the way.

Quiet Rural Home

The house is located on the outskirts of a small town. It is in a quiet area, and the house is set up with everything you need for a stay away from home. We would stay here again.

The view was amazing

Just out of town with an amazing view. It wasn’t quite ready when we got there, the host was still cleaning. Which was kinda awkward but she was very apologetic about it and made a trip back to bring us sheets for an air mattress. Overall a decent stay.

Home Away From Home

We were so thrilled to find such a clean and comfortable Vrbo in Ava. We felt as if we were staying with family. Check in was SUPER easy, supplies were all available and updated, the beds were warm and cozy. Communication was fast and helpful. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. The house is minutes from the grocery store and Walmart. We will definitely be staying here for all of our upcoming Ava trips. Don't even attempt to book at the Super 8 when you can have a home away from home. The Ava House is the place to stay!

Perfect Out of The Way Spot

Not that Ava is a busy area but the location of this property as described and on the edge of town. Our stay was very quiet and full of nature. We saw deer each day in the field across the road and the neighbors yard and there was a bunch of squirrels in the tree next to the house. Very peaceful to sit and watch them with my morning coffee. The home is perfect for a couple days or longer. I cannot think of anything they did not accommodate for. Hulu for streaming entertainment. We loved it and will be back every time we are in the area to visit family.

perfect balance

First, the owners give great attention to detail. It is not only well provided for, but very clean and also a very comfortable home feel with their extra touches. The owner was so kind to meet my short notice request! This farm owned all the land around it, now it is a perfect balance of country road, a few homes down the road when looking out the kitchen window, an open field out the living room window, and amazing Ozarks view from the from porch. Even the furnace is quiet, heats the home quickly. i hope to return soon!

It was always the idea to fix the old house up. This is the original Farm house to the area land you see around you.
It's a continuous work in progress.
In 2019 we set out on our journey of offering The Ava House as a vacation rental for area travelers and we feel in love with Hosting.
We live about 20 miles West of Ava on a Cattle Farm. If you need us we can be there fairly quick.
